This former MTV VJ who everyone who watched thought was creepy lost his job a decade ago because he was doing drugs and having sex with a college student who had a famous dad. Apparently the VJ brought up the name of a college student/"Club Kid" he also used to have sex with who was murdered. That case drew huge national attention. The college student complained to his parents that he thought the VJ was going to kill him or have him killed. The parents called someone and the next thing you know, the VJ was gone and has not really worked since.
No idea really, but the first one that comes to mind is that kid Jessie with the zany hair.

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely Jesse Camp. Last year, he did an interview with Michael Alig. The same Michael Alig who killed the fellow Club Kid Angel over drugs. Jesse Camp got the drugs from Angel, which explains why he always appeared inebriated in his VJ interviews.

I seriously doubt Jesse Camp was still employed by MTV in 2007. The last time I remember seeing him on TV was in the early 2000s. Maybe this is just a case of "10 years ago was 1999" syndrome, I know I'm guilty of it sometimes.

ReplyDeleteKurt Loder was never a VJ. He was the news director for MTV...I watched MTV obsessively from August 1982 when my family finally got cable until the late 90s.

Could be Loder. He is now 71, but it could well be PollyShore cause no one has seen him around for years.
