Both of these former co-stars could use a boost of positive publicity. One is foreign born and A- list. The other is also A- list. Neither has really had any luck since the end of their franchise and they were front page tabloid fodder every day. Don't be surprised if they start having lunch together every week and let the paps know about it.
Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart?

ReplyDeleteIt's pretty limited in who it can be. 1)In a franchise. 2) A-list. 3) Daily tabloid fodder. 4) One foreign, one not foreign, so that eliminates all the Harry Potter actors.
ReplyDeleteIt also says the people need positive publicity. Stewart may have gotten some good reviews, but more people see pictures of her looking dirty and ill online than see her movies. Pattinson's publicity has been more about his broken engagement than his movies.
I agree that Stone and Garfield are a lot less likely. However, Stone has been very quiet since winning her Oscar, and she still gets a lot of back-lash for the white-washing in "Aloha." Garfield seems to have pretty much fallen off the radar. I did see something about him recently, but it was him talking about drugs rather than promoting a movie.
Considering they are making small indie movies the lack of box office isn't surprising. Few indies make money, but have Kristen and Robert in the cast guarantees publicity.
DeleteFirst thought was Robert &Kristen,but they're both working a lot and doing quite well - both have even gotten great reviews in various film fests & such, so I don't think it's them. So it's either nobody & this is one of ENTY's fuller blinds, or it's someone else (duh, lol)...

ReplyDeleteRobert is getting oscar buzz with his latest movie and is in the lists as one of the bests actors of the year and does anything to stay out of the tabloids, so I don't think it's him.

ReplyDeleteBoth Kristen and Robert have had success with critics, post Twilight. Both have had Oscar buzz, and both have won critic's awards. If they do hang out or get back together, for real or for publicity, it would help both. They would not be the first or the last. I loved Good Time and Personal Shopper, and both gave Oscar worthy performances.

ReplyDeleteKristen's Twilight fans are so transparent with these hilarious blinds they send it. For starters, Rob is not the one who needs good publicity. He's in the Oscar conversation for Good Time, nominated for an Independent Spirit Award, and both his films this year are on most of the Top Ten lists (The Lost City of Z). He said at Cannes that they are not even in touch any more, which means he wants people to know that he's not going to be seen anywhere near her ever again. Does he need to take out a billboard before these old broads get the message?
ReplyDeleteKristen needs all the publicity she can get, as she has no work lined up for next year. She just admitted that she's not attached to the Charlie's Angel reboot (although her PR team tried to make it look like she was). He has 5 projects he's attached to, she's got nothing. Kind of says it all about how their careers are going and how much better he's doing than her. Too bad her fans can't accept that she prefers women to men and Rob prefers anyone to her.
