Mr. X Blind Item #2 - Old Hollywood Harvey

Future First Lady #2 fought back against OHH and his advances, and saw her roles in movies get smaller and smaller. On the advice of her husband, who had heard plenty of stories about OHH from fellow stars, she quit acting altogether. OHH spread those untrue rumors that she was promiscuous and gave good head.

  1. This is Nancy the BJ Queen

  2. Kind of ironic for Reagan to be advising any women on the perils of Hollywood. He was accused of rape himself.

  3. Voila .... Nancy and no doubt he did
    Doucher.

  4. Nancy's movie studio was MGM, so OHH is either Samuel Goldwyn or Louis B. Mayer

  5. I don't think it was LBM. He was like Hitchcock, a creepy, gross, enabling lecher, but not confident enough to try anything. Just as well.

  6. Never believed this rumor. MR just seemed so uptight and kind of a prude.

  7. sam goldwyn wasnt with mgm.

  8. That is interesting when you look it up. Goldwyn really did have little to nothing to do with MGM after the merger. He worked independently and primarily with United Artists and then RKO Pictures.

  10. So this long-standing rumor was false, and Rat Pack lackey Peter Lawford was instrumental in spreading it to a new generation of movie fans.

Was there anyone in the Rat Pack who didn't treat women like garbage?

  11. is OHH Peter Lawford? He did start the blow job queen rumor and was part of Mrs Jacqueline Hammond sex parties with his wife, Patricia Kennedy, brother-in-law of Robert Kennedy, John Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis Jr.

  12. @Mad Mominem. You don't call people Rats because they're nice.

  13. Nancy Reagan. Sad that people are still so willing to believe OHH!

  14. Nancy Reagan, and Eddie Mannix who effectively ran the studio.

  15. Oh, there is Nancy Reagan.

  16. I doubt Peter Lawford, who was widely rumored to be closeted, was OHH.

  17. Peter Lawford was most probably closeted. He couldn't be single longer than a few weeks. Married and divorced often. Classic behavior of closeted.

  18. @Do Tell, Hortensia, etc.

My point was not that he might've been closeted; on Lipstick Alley's thread about Old Hollywood Gossip, they suggest the real love of his life was Dorothy Dandridge, and they couldn't be together due to public prejudice.

My point was that Lawford is credited with smearing an actress who stood up for her rights.

  19. @MadHominem, my remark was aimed at Don Kieballs, not you. Don asked if Peter Lawford could have been OHH. I said it wasn't likely because Lawford was rumored to be closeted, and OHH is being accused of raping women.

  20. > Was there anyone in the Rat Pack who didn't treat women like garbage?

Reportedly only Samy Davis JR was the only not-wife beater. Even if he also
got a blond trophy wife, he treated her well.
