If you want to know one of my guesses for next singer to overdose it would be this A- list ingenue who is hooked on opiates. Last night, she was so out of it, that there were probably dozens of people at an after party who thought it might be the last time they ever saw her alive.
I have no idea who this is, but how sad.

ReplyDeleteshit, thats nothing to take lightly - lana is VERY talented and kind, she is also very smart. Ive been in a studio with her and just a guy on the piano....her voice is haunting, and so unique. Granted this was several years ago and she could have changed a lot, but I was struck by how genuine she was and nice to every single person there. Not to mention, it was 8am.
anyway, I hope she gets help. opiods are, obviously, an epidemic right now. my guess is she is using heroin.
also Lust for Life was a great album. I thought Honeymoon absolutely sucked, tho.
ReplyDeletei PRAY it's not lana, she's my absolute favorite artist from the current day and i know she's had her history with addiction but i never want to see anybody who's previously come out on top of their addiction fall back into it :( if anything happens to her i'll be seriously upset
ReplyDeletefor what it's worth during honeymoon she put on weight (not fat, just a little more curvy) and all that weight was dropped and then some by the time she was promoting L4L. not sure if she just started eating more salads or if that's related to drug use, but. just putting it out there
