Yesterday I wrote about that foreign born actor/rapist. Well, last night he wore a Time's Up pin. A person who knows what he did to that woman many years ago asked him about it in front of the actor's wife. The person asking could tell the wife had never heard the accusation before. Interesting.

@Nonya Bidness - Ralph is ageing now, but have you seen him in Wuthering Heights? He always was the better looking one when younger (although that's a matter of personal taste, obviously). Plus he's a far superior actor. I don't think Joseph could compete with his brother in terms of talent even if he hadn't f**ked up his career raping that woman.

ReplyDeletethis blind basically cements joseph fiennes as the rapist in that blind. still wondering who the victim is....somebody pointed out that Kirsten Scott Thomas had continued to work with Ralph Fiennes post-2000 and I wonder if that cancels her out...but she is the immediate guess I have for someone that is a dear friend and internationally beloved due to her large amount of international co-productions. she is fluent in multiple languages and always speaks the film's native tongue, which is effing impressive.

A friend hooked up with Ralph a few times back in the day when he was in LA a lot... apparently he is PACKING in the pants, and knows how to use it. She said he was extraordinary in the sack... extraordinary.

ReplyDeleteKirsten Scott Thomas is fluent and performs in French where she has lived since she was 19 ("brought up her three children in Paris, and sometimes considers herself more French than British." per wikipedia), not "multiple languages" though!
ReplyDeleteJoseph Fiennes is and always has been a mediocre actor at best. He only got entry into Hollywood because of his brother's talent and popularity in the US. If it weren't for Ralph he would have a middling career on British tv, at best.

ReplyDeleteAnd I remember really liking Joseph in Shakespeare in Love and in Elizabeth, I thought he was going to be the next big thing, but his bro is def far more talented (The English Patient and The Constant Gardener were great movies, still some of my faves).
Ralph is by far the better actor and has a much more interesting face than poultry-chested Joseph.

I don't believe the prior blind specified it was an actress. What I recall is it said foreign sales agents weren't supporting films with the actor/rapist in them. If KST or another popular actress was the victim then all of the producers, directors, fellow actors etc who know and like her would be boycotting the actor/rapist. Instead it is a very small fraternity of foreign sales agents. That suggests to me that the victim was more likely to be in film marketing or publicity, someone the foreign sales agents would have interacted with often.
