Blind Item #2
This older permanent A list country singer has cancer and has been hiding it for close to two years now. Apparently things have taken a turn for the worse and is not expected to live the rest of the year.

Randy Travis?
ReplyDeleteWillie Nelson. Had to cancel at least one concert recently.
ReplyDeleteActually older and hiding it makes me think Willie Nelson?
ReplyDeleteLoretta Lynn.
ReplyDeleteShe's been struggling with health problems and cancelled dates in the last year, and just recently broke her hip. Doesn't seem like the prognosis is good.

Willie Nelson
ReplyDeleteDolly Parton cancelled several performances/events to attend last year, and would never want something like this revealed. Truly hope it’s not..... but:(
ReplyDeleteNo!! I hope youre wrong this time Tricia 😥 I love her, shes a doll I've danced with my boys to her Greatest Hits at least a hundred times! Wow this would make me sad
DeleteI love her too Rosie... very witty, warm lady.
DeleteAnd talented . Ever see her debut at the GRand Ol Opery? It’s pretty stunning
No i have not...but seeing her is on my bucket list 💞
DeleteMy first thought 😢
DeleteWillie Nelson. He has canceled a lot of concerts.
ReplyDeleteReally hope it's not Dolly!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to throw Kenny Rogers into the mix. He did a farewell tour last year, and has been looking pretty gaunt.
ReplyDeleteDamnit man this is going to hurt, i assume its Willie.
ReplyDelete@jimbonius Rogers has admitted he has cancer, though. It's no secret.
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping it is not Dolly, although she is known for being very private about her personal life, so thats a good guess.
I hope it's not anyone named. I've loved music from all of them, and am not a country music fan. I love Dolly and her support for the LGBT community. Willie Nelson is Willie MF Nelson. Music, Weed, Humor, Kindness - he is iconic and still a very nice man, even after a lifetime of putting up with fans he still appreciates the love and gives it back. Hopefully “Still Not Dead” was a declaration of good health and he really does just have the flu. Loretta Lynn broke her hip and had a stroke not that long ago. I know her health isn't great, but it also isn't being kept secret since her sister posted about it (I still remember seeing Crystal Gayle at the Rodeo, riding around on the back of a convertible - sitting on the top of the seat/back of car - and being scared her hair would get stuck in the wheels).
ReplyDeleteNo guesses on this from me. This is a blind I would feel sad about being right on.
Willie seems like A+ country
ReplyDeleteWillie IS A+ country. I know I will take time off when ever he passes.
ReplyDeleteLove me some Willie.
Willie is going to be 85 in April. I saw him live twice last year. It's amazing to me that he can stand up and do a whole (great) show, but when he walked off I could just see how much it took out of him. In other words, he doesn't have to have cancer to need to cancel shows. I don't know how even the healthiest of 80+ year olds can keep the schedule he's kept. Also, no one has to "hide" cancer because they're not under any obligation to tell any damn person they don't want to tell.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me sad!! I love old country. I don't want it to be anyone named :(
ReplyDeleteLong live Willie.... Angel flying too close to the ground playing on my Alexa stat! Don K - i saw Crystal Gayle at the Houston rodeo, too! That hair! Blue Bayou. I would think Willie would be A+ so i'm going with RT or LL.

ReplyDeleteFrom 2015, I think it's Willie
Loretta Lynn was recently in the news.
ReplyDeleteI think this is Willie. 😫
ReplyDeleteWillie or Loretta. Either would be a devastating loss.
ReplyDeleteDAAAAMN not Willie or Dolly....PLEASE God can we trade for Toby or Taylor? JK...a little.
ReplyDeleteGod bless Willie Nelson. When he dies, so does country music.
ReplyDeleteSomeone quick, put out a Missing Persons Alert for count. Hes been abducted and an imposter is in his place 👽
ReplyDeleteLoretta - had a stroke and now has a broken hip. Unfortunately, at her age, recovery from such an injury is extremely difficult. It includes a great deal of bed rest which invites issues like pneumonia and secondary infections. This is how my grandmother passed away. :(
ReplyDeleteI think this is Willie Nelson too. I'm sure I saw a previous blind here about him regarding his illness.
ReplyDeleteI think it's Tim Mcgraw. I know he's not old compared to some but he is definitely getting up there and has been in the industry a long time.
ReplyDeleteHe has looked sick for a couple of years. Hope I'm wrong.
Didn't george strait retire from touring a few years back?
ReplyDeleteI think it's Loretta. Secondary infections in elderly patients are more likely than not following a broken hip. That is usually the last straw for many elderly folks, even the otherwise healthy ones.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteLoretta probably has bone cancer secondary to some other kind of cancer (did she ever have breast cancer?).... broke her hip.
Willie.
ReplyDeleteWillie
ReplyDeleteEveryone pray for Willie! He is a National Treasure
ReplyDeleteNot Willie, MJ is actually preventative of cancer, not altogether, but science shows it actually helps protect on some level, so it can't be Willie.
ReplyDeleteBob Marley died of brain cancer and I have several pot head friends who have died of cancer. If like to see the statistics on your statements. Personally, I will be using the oil when my lungs deteriorate..
DeleteLoretta Lynn is my favorite c country singer. She is suffering so much. I think it's Randy Travis.
DeleteWillis has canceled a number of shows over the past 3 or 4 years due to illness. He keeps working because he loves it and because he has tons of people on the payroll. He's supported some of them for decades.
