Robert Pattinson/Emma Watson
Yes indeed!!
I was wondering why he didn't say one word.
Lol. Pattinson has been doing some decent work lately.
I thought Enty was being hyperbolic about Emma's chances but looking at her IMDb she does not work nearly as much as I thought she did, also only has one thing in prosuction that she is also producing
Why would Watson's chances be running out? Beauty and the Beast made half a billion, the second biggest movie of 2017 after The Last Jedi.
BATB was a big hit thanks to the disney machine, nothing to do with emma who has a rep for being 'difficult'.
Oh Emma is diffult? Isn't that what powerful men spread about the women they harass who try to stand up to them? So, who tried to do the dirty on Emma?
Unfortunately, Emma W has the reputation of being difficult and unable to deliver (BATB really was a Disney machine, and she was not recognized by anyone as having been the reason it worked.)
Whether it's deserved, we don't know, but if the options are: actress with proven talent and ready-to-work attitude and Emma, she's not getting the role, at least not right now.
@ForSure Glad you said it, because I was just about to!
Emma is a international treasure, and the girl can act. If she's being blacklisted for not f*cking hte producers, I will find Carrie Fisher's old sow's tongue, and a tiffany box and send it to anyone who we learn is blackballing her... so help me god.
The whole Emma Watson part perplexes me. Even if she were "running out of chances" which I think is ridiculous given her looks, talent and fan base, how does her co-presenter at the GG's affect her chances of getting work??
I disagree with the Emma and Rob guesses, for many reasons. One reason is Pattinson gave a well-spoken interview to a Golden Globes reporter, which was tweeted from their official site. He may have appeared nervous on stage, but definitely not drunk.
If it's Pattinson what is his 2nd franchise?
@Jax129
Pattinson was in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
I doubt Emma is difficult. She's a Brown-educated, professional who doesn't need the money and expects to be treated with respect. That's not difficult - unless you're a producer or director looking to get into her pants or treat her like dirt.
That said, those directors and producers are pigs and have a lot of power.
This is absurd. Pattinson was stone cold sober. He wasn't hammered or anything else. They were the 21st couple to present and the show was running late, that's why all they did was present. They had a joke about Harry Potter at the rehearsals but they cut it because the show was running long.
Kit Harington is the one getting so drunk in bars last week that he couldn't stand up and had to be carried out of a bar. There was plenty of video of that. Pattinson is one of the most decent, low key guys in the film business, you literally have to make something up about him because otherwise, you got nothing. As for Emma, her last film made a billion dollars, she has her choice of roles. If she's taking time off, that's her business. It's not like she needs to work for the money, is it?
Emma is a sub par actress who was such a pain during batb press tour talking about how it was a feminist movie. She brings no eyes due to her involvement.
@Ed DiGuilo -- you must have no idea how ridiculous you sound. Emma has a huge following from the Harry Potter franchise and of course she brought them to Beauty and the Beast. Why do you think she's the most retweeted actress from the Globes last night on Twitter today? All the publications have run stories about these two presenting together, and they've all been complimentary, from PEOPLE to Glamour to PopSugar, etc. These are two of the most beloved and non-problemactic movie stars in existence. Emma is admired for her feminism, she's one of the most well-educated and intelligent actresses working today. She has nothing to prove, she doens't have to make 2 or 3 junkie movies per year. You need an attitude adjustment.
Somebody's publicist is all up in here.
emma's bangs = No. maybe a distraction from her award-winning eyebrow acting.
she's cute, tho.
Aaron Taylor Johnson / Kate Hudson
ROB PATTINSON is A- list? Please. He was barely in the HP franchise at all, and other than Twilight name one movie he's been in that did well.
@CeeKay, you need to catch up, sis. Pattinson is in two of the best films of 2017, Good Time and The Lost City of Z. Check out the New York Times, they say he's the one who should be nominated for Best Actor by the Oscars. His last 6 films have all been critically acclaimed, he hasn't had any flops for years. He's not making studio films, he's the go-to guy for the arthouse directors. Good Time won awards at Cannes last year, and he's making Claire Denis' first English-language film, High Life. The film he's making this summer is produced by Martin Scorsese. He has $100 million, it's not like he needs to do commercial films, is it?
Millennials who have grown up with the Harry Potter franchise absolutely adore Emma. They will pay to see her read the Wall Street Journal. She is certainly not out of chances.
Sometimes people ARE difficult... You act like it would be impossible for a woman to be "difficult". I am a woman fyi
Emma's not difficult, that rumor got spread by Franco's team to discredit her if she ever said anything about his lecherous ways... so says this site!
Met Emma a few times here in NYC, she was perfectly lovely and has a sly sense of humor. Rooting for her to find a proper script/film/project....
