I had no idea this B+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee was getting married. When I saw her just a few weeks ago at a party she was sucking face with someone who is definitely not her new spouse.
I actually just read they did a study since gay marriage became legal in the USA - lesbians have the highest divorce rate, while gay men and hetero couples have roughly the same divorce rate. The whole "second date, bring a Uhaul" cliche has some truth to it - rushing into things, going from zero to domestic...and then, cheating...and then, divorce.
Of course lesbians have the highest divorce rate. Women are the usual instigators of divorce, somthing like 70% of the time. With lesbian couples, hey, it’s two women ...
Many years ago, when I wasn't having any luck with the ladies, I turned to a gay friend and said: Maybe I'd have better luck with the men. He looked at me and said "I've said the same thing about women." Misery knows no sexuality.
