Blind Item #7
Our A+ list mogul has laid down the law. He has so much dirt on a certain producer that she can't even say one bad thing about the A list director who is a few weeks away from having his world come crashing down. The producer has no problems trashing this other A list director who has already fallen from grace. She is selling her soul to the mogul. Eventually it will come back to haunt her.

ReplyDeleteGeffin/Tarantino/Singer and
ReplyDeleteKathleen Kennedy maybe (or Bigelow$
DeleteHow did Tarantino get to be a "she"?
ReplyDeleteGeffen, Lauren Shuler Donner, Singer and Ratner
ReplyDeleteSpielberg, oprah, Harvey
ReplyDeleteOprah comes to mind
ReplyDeleteGeffen, Ellison, and Korine.
ReplyDeleteLea has it.
ReplyDelete;-)
DeleteI like the Lauren Shuler Donner guess...she produced the X-Men movies.
ReplyDeleteIs James Cameron a mogul or just a director? Because I am sure he would have the inside skinny on Bigelow.
ReplyDeleteEither Spielberg/Kennedy or Singer/Donner
ReplyDeleteGeffen is the mogul. Ratner as the disgraced? or maybe Singer if it turns out to be Spielberg?
I say that Harvey has dirt on Bigelow and that the director is Cameron.
ReplyDeleteThese are the blanks, people:
ReplyDeleteA+ list mogul = a man
Certain producer = woman
A list director about to get named = a man
Fallen from grace A list director = a man.
I don't see how Oprah fits in at all. The A List director about to get named is probably someone with a movie coming out soon. Singer and Ratner have already been named, so either one can be the fallen from grace director, but not both.
So here we go: Bob Iger, Kathleen Kennedy, Ron Howard, Brian Singer.
ymmv
Good description, thanks @Tim. I like your thinking out of the box and suggestions. I am going with @Lea though
DeleteIt's definitely Lauren Schuler Donner. Took a swipe at Ratner while waffling on Singer.
ReplyDeletehttp://kticradio.com/abc_entertai/xmen-series-producer-lauren-schuler-donner-laments-bryan-singers-demons-calls-demeaning-brett-ratner-horrible-abcid36019038/
Here's what Lauren Shuler Donner had to say about Ratner:
ReplyDelete"...He’s horrible. I’m aware he’s very demeaning to women, extremely demeaning to women, myself included. Yes, I was aware. Anybody that’s female, he’s demeaning.”
And Singer:
“Listen, I love Bryan, but Bryan has a lot of demons ... Bryan has some problems, and Bryan needs to take care of his personal problems. That’s all I can say.”
https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/article/x-men-producer-lauren-shuler-donner-on-avengers-x-men-and-hollywood-harassment/
" Singer and Ratner have already been named, so either one can be the fallen from grace director, but not both."
ReplyDeleteExactly
I'll read more comments to try to understand, meahile i say: BRING IT ON!!!!
It doesn't say the disgraced director (Singer) hasn't been named, it just says he's a few weeks away from his world crashing down.
ReplyDeleteSo far he's remained relatively unscathed, tucked up in a hotel room snorting coke from barely, but definitely, legal twinks. His lawyers must be working overtime though, and they're only working on the tip of the iceberg.
@Lea good point
DeleteI keep reading the blind but I'm confused. Did he screw up pronouns?
ReplyDeleteEnty proof read, damn.
ReplyDeleteBryan Singer was fired from Bohemian Rhapsody, so unless he's really going to get in legal trouble, I'd say he's already been hit.
ReplyDeleteLooks pretty clear that Singer is one of Geffen's boys, Ratner is not.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering why Singer's crash is a few weeks away, what else it's waiting on.
"David Geffen has laid down the law. He has so much dirt on Lauren Shuler Donner that she can't even say one bad thing about Bryan Singer. Lauren has no problems trashing Brett Ratner. She is selling her soul to Geffen. Eventually it will come back to haunt her."
ReplyDeleteSee links above for her trashing Ratner/defending Singer.
This has to be it. Geffen has the power to keep lots of people in a stranglehold. Good sleuthing.
DeleteI pray that DG's downfall will be coming, he is as scary as he is evil!
I'm all in with h8zilla. Weinstein, Oprah, Spielberg, Singer.
ReplyDeleteAlternatively Geffen, Oprah, Spielberg, Singer.
ReplyDelete@Goldie Hawn, try it like this:
ReplyDelete"Person A has laid down the law. He has so much dirt on B that she can't even say one bad thing about C who is a few weeks away from having his world come crashing down. B has no problems trashing D who has already fallen from grace. B is selling her soul to A. Eventually it will come back to haunt her."
What kind of dirt does the mogul have on the producer?
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm over the moon to hear that Spielberg's time is coming soon. I wonder if this had anything to do with it:
ReplyDeleteIMDb list of Alleged Pedophiles
David Geffen has laid down the law. He has so much dirt* on Oprah Winfrey that she can't even say one bad thing about Steven Spielberg, who is a few weeks away from having his world come crashing down. Oprah has no problems trashing Bryan Singer who has already fallen from grace. She is selling her soul to Geffen. Eventually it will come back to haunt her**.
ReplyDelete*dirt on Oprah: she's gay. She's spent countless vacations yachting and partying with Gayle and Geffen. He knows everything and she doesn't want it out.
**selling her soul to Geffen and not speaking against Spielberg will come back to haunt her when she runs for President.
Lea - This is a very obvious blind to me and you nailed it exactly.
ReplyDeleteRatner is already done. Singer is still attached to projects, like Legion and The Gifted. Technically Singer just requested his name be removed from Legion to avoid being "a distraction", but un-credited doesn't mean unpaid or still no a part of. He has been named and is considered one of the pervs, but he's still working. For now.
Lauren Shuler Donner made it clear Ratner=bad/Singer=personal problems. It sucks if she is being blackmailed, but it's still a choice of do the right thing or stay bought and paid for. Even if it's a possible career killer, you either side with or against molesters and pedophiles.
I really really hope you're right Just Sayin'...
ReplyDeleteI would love for Stephen Spielberg's time to be up, but I just don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon.
And if it does happen - I think he'll just put the gun straight in his mouth.
Spielberg is the final big boss at the end of a video game, it will take major public reveals to even dent him.
ReplyDelete@LTReader brilliant observation
DeleteI think it is Spielberg, he'll hop on someone's jet and fly to some international hiding spot and live in hiding. Once his time comes, I don't think he will be easily dismissed like the rest. I can't think of anyone who hasn't loved at least one of his movies. And the way Spielberg is talking about the current atmosphere being good and an imperative, makes me think he's isn't the least bit concerned about being called out.
ReplyDeleteTypo - meant to say I think IF it is Spielberg. I still believe it's Singer and Donner
ReplyDeleteThe upcoming downfall can't be Singer's -- he's already fallen, albeit it slowly and not as horrifically as we'd all like to see. For everything to "come crashing down" in a few weeks means shock, drama, unexpected, and it hasn't started yet. We know what we know about Spielberg but most of the world does not and they will be truly devastated.
ReplyDeleteAllegedly.
When I hear/read "woman mogul," Oprah is always the first to come to mind.
ReplyDeleteNot Oprah. She never comes out swinging against anyone about anything (except Texas ranchers.) She merely adores all the white male power brokers and refuses to entertain negative thoughts about them because The Secret told her not to (as well as her billions.)
ReplyDelete+1
DeletePREACH!
sidenote: the blind didn't say "woman mogul" but said A+ list mogul followed by two "she's" - so I'm going to assume Enty means woman mogul who is A+ list.
ReplyDeleteThe Mogul in the blind is a he. The female is the producer who trashes one director but not another.
ReplyDeleteIt's got to be more than Oprah's gay - maybe a satanist or something. Wasnt the rumor that Oprah or Harpos brand symbol had satanic stuff in it or something? WTF?
ReplyDeleteThanks for clarifying Don Kiebalis.
ReplyDeleteDisregard my comments then. /grin/
Geffen - Trump - Spilberg
ReplyDeleteSo if everybody inside knows about Spielberg, how could "The Post" get made? Surely Tom Hanks, Streep, and otherswould avoid him. Unless...
ReplyDeleteGlue - I get confused with how some of the blinds are written too. There's one particular entern who I think makes blinds extra confusing just to enjoy the comment section chaos. They are sadistic, but in a fun way, not an Oprah eats baby type of way.
ReplyDeleteLea got it. Singer has been named and fired from one project, but as Don Kieballs mentioned, Singer's name is still on some projects. However, there's a faction inside the studio that hates Singer and is reviewing contracts for a way to claw back or cut off pay going forward. Also, this faction wants to comb through Singer's expense reports. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGeffen is the rat king
ReplyDeleteSinger is one of the rats
if one falls, they all do.
I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I WANT GEFFEN RAKED OVER THE COALS IN PUBLIC FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE.
I'll go with Lea for the win. I have to admit, I've always admired Spielberg. 'Jaws' held me in it's grasp as a 12yo and I've been a fan ever since. I guess I'm not understanding the hate. Have there always been pedo rumours and i just missed it? There has been little if any dark dirt on Steven. Has it been covered up? It's possible. Or do people want to see him fall because he has been on the Top of the heap for so long? If it's true I'll feel bad, but damn, that would be a shocker.
ReplyDeleteOur A+ list mogul (GEFFEN) has laid down the law. He has so much dirt on a certain producer (LAUREN SHULER DONNER) that she can't even say one bad thing about the A list director (BRYAN SINGER) who is a few weeks away from having his world come crashing down (WORST TO COME?..). The producer has no problems trashing this other A list director (BRET RATNER) who has already fallen from grace. She is selling her soul to the mogul. Eventually it will come back to haunt her.
ReplyDeletegood, let it haunt her FOREVER.
There has always been rumours about Stephen Spielberg txredhd - never heard a rape story but plenty of molestation ones and generally creepy behaviour - although they tend to be deleted from the internet as soon as they appear...
ReplyDeleteHe's connected to a lot of child actors who were abused so people coming up with his name are just connecting the dots.
Spielberg may not be a pedo, but he sure wants children to express that victimhood he, perhaps, relates to personally.
ReplyDeleteThere is a reason he was so tight with Michael Jackson and why Spielberg makes so many movies that center around children.
What Is It?
Delete(An essay concerning the subtext of the film by the same title)
by Crispin Hellion Glover
Read this essay by doc brown from back to the future
An excerpt:
Do you believe Steven Spielberg is an ideal guide and influence for our culture? Do Steven Spielberg’s films question our culture? What do Steven Spielberg’s films question? Does Steven Spielberg focus much of his fantasy life on young people? Did he portray children wallowing in sewers filled with fecal matter in Schindler’s List? Did he use children to finger paint an adult in Hook? Does he collect the illustrations of Norman Rockwell, such as the one showing a young boy in his underwear examined by a doctor? Are the inclinations of Steven Spielberg above suspicion by the media-fed culture? Was Steven Spielberg very friendly with Michael Jackson? Wasn’t Michael Jackson supposed to play Peter Pan in Steven Spielberg’s version of the story? Now that Michael Jackson is no longer held in favor by the mass media, does Spielberg associate with him? Do Michael Jackson and Steven Spielberg share similar opinions about the sexuality of young boys?
Did Joseph Goebbels popularize certain ideals to the mass culture? Does Steven Spielberg attempt to do the same thing? Is celebrity more special than actual truth in art?
When you join in a conversation with strangers, do you openly discuss any idea whatsoever without fear of conflict? Or do you restrain yourself from discussing certain things for fear of offending people and then becoming an outcast? Are there laws that deem certain forms of thought as bad and wrong? Is what is now termed “hate” a form of thought?
Spielberg's involved and what do you want to bet that after it breaks, he'll suddenly die of what a medical examiner will call "an accidental drug overdose." "cough, cough"
ReplyDeleteI would assume, just like Hugh Hefner had his collection of "sex, lies & videotapes,"
ReplyDeleteGeffen most definitely has his own collections too.
The BIG question is, WHO has the photos/videos of Geffen & Speilberg?
They exist somewhere.
I would bet Geffen has videos he enjoys watching of himself and sharing with friends.
Geffen and Spielberg are not untouchables
Everyone thought the Clinton's were untouchable,
but things going down behind the scenes prove otherwise.
as someone has said, i think Spielberg would be more than A+
ReplyDeletei would go with Geffen, Lauren Shuler Donner, Singer and Ratner too
Btw, very interesting comments
"Everyone thought the Clinton's were untouchable,"
ReplyDeleteWho ever said or thought that?
I agree with a comment @plot made about Spielberg and his -creepy , almost unsavory spotlight on children in his films (let alone the MJ connection). My question is though-if he really likes(ed) kids, then why did he make “Hook”?!😰
ReplyDelete+1 Tricia! His first big moment in our lives was about a kid being eaten by a shark and traumatizing people all over the world about swimming in the ocean. He effing LOVES scaring kids.
ReplyDeleteBreaking news that Ronan Farrow's bringing someone as big as Weinstein down who works under the CBS umbrella of corporations.
My theory - like Michael Jackson, Spielberg is focused on saving children who they imagine are lonely or in danger. Naturally, they imagine themselves the saviors of children and their precious innocence. If only they can eliminate the ugly awful mommies from the scene... like the author of Peter Pan did so conveniently - you know that James Barrie "inherited" four boy children and tried to eliminate the nurse who raised them and who had custody of them after their parents died. Barrie didn't consummate his short marriage and only had a passion for children. Peter Pan is a template for the pedo's brain and how they imagine themselves amongst children. Peter Pan is irresistible to people with unhealthy (not necessarily sexual) feelings for kids.
ReplyDeleteFull disclosure, I'm not sure MJ abused children either.
Spielberg and Capshaw have also adopted a ton of kids, which I also find interesting. Capshaw has her own issues, too, oh boy.
Fuck! Forgot to wrap my theory down.
ReplyDeleteOF COURSE Spielberg puts kids in danger, that he subsequently saves them from. THAT is his thrill, BIG TIME.
Oh, Plot, Plot, Plot, my poor Plot, lol -- seriously, you know I've got your back we think alike a lot of the time, but I'm afraid you are going to be in for a big disappointment.
ReplyDeleteLet's think...adopting a lot of kids, never heard of that going on in a pedophile's household (*cough* Jerry Sandusky *cough*). It makes one look like *such a good person!!!* and it's cover for the lack of marital sex (Capshaw is a well-known lesbian.) Not to mention having a harem of young people you have total control of right under your own roof.
@just sayin'
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know. I just can't bring myself to say it, without real proof. That's me and how I think. But Spielberg as given me the creeps for ages. His movies give me the creeps, too, have for a long time. I thought for a long time that it was because Spielberg is a classic propagandist...but then if you really look at his films, what thrills Spielberg is kids, the plight of kids in danger, he really bears down hard on the kids. Ick!
I KNOW! I'm just waiting for that shoe to drop (and to figure out wtf Tom Hanks still works with him, though Tom had a horrible childhood himself.)
@Schneiderisnext
Crispin Glover wrote that? The same Crispin Glover who was drummed out of Hollywood for alleged drug issues (though that never stopped Hollywood from hiring others.)
The very same Crispin Glover.
DeleteHe also wrote and directed a series of cult films which follow an adult paraplegic raised/abused by a controlling mother who then acts out the same abuse as a successful film director who takes part in casting couch torture porn.
I kinda think it might be a grand metaphor.
Read the whole essay plot, I only posted the safe for work parts. It's very shocking, thought provoking, and well written
Plot you're absolutely right pedos see themselves as being kind and loving towards children. That's how they justify the abuse in their own minds. And apparently, as we are all collectively realising, Hollywood is virtually a pedo paradise. Let's not forget either that the pedo next day is very real as well. The evil doesn't end in Hollyweird. He's your child's youth pastor, his little league coach, even his own uncle or cousin. Purging Hollywood will raise its collective good energy and perhaps bring long awaited justice to victims. But protecting children is all our jobs, in our communities, our countries and our world. Our kiddos deserve that, at the very least.
ReplyDeleteI've made a lot of new connections on "The Church" blind.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2017/12/todays-blind-items-church.html?
WE'VE IDENTIFIED the church, donors, and immigration loophole that allows the A+ Mogul to run a EASTERN EUROPEAN sex trafficking COMPOUND in Short Creek AZ
I think a couple of FOIA's might actually be possible
Some remarkable shitty guesses for the female producer in this equation, bail us out Tricia please.
ReplyDeleteOprah is not a producer, she would be an A++ list star in the blind. This is a female producer who makes big films and has no name recognition on the checkout counter.
Griffin,Oprah and Spielberg
ReplyDeleteGeffin,Oprah and Spielberg
ReplyDeleteLauren Shuler Donner/Brett Ratner and Bryan Singer
