Sticking with the royal theme from the last blind, there is more to tell. That divorced royal couple has apparently been living together for the past several years. Apparently this couple is extremely hopeful that the person in the most ill of health in the family passes away soon. There are multiple reasons for this horrible wish. It is that person who has kept the female in the divorced couple away from public events. It is also that person who has refused to reinstate allowances for the children of the couple. That person is of the belief that the children should be working. The divorced male in the relationship has been threatening that the kids will start earning money doing reality television and other untoward things if the allowances are not reinstated.

ReplyDeleteWhenever that family is on TV and I see those two girls I wonder why? They're no longer any where near ascending the throne any more. That balcony can only hold so many. Catherine gives birth every two years and she's runnning outta time, so Harry will have one or two cuz Meghan's running outta time. Charles cut the two girls off many years ago due to "budget cuts."

I tend not to buy these royal family blinds - except when they're about MM, because she does still have those "commoner" connections in LA. But sorry, there is no way anyone in The Firm's inner circle is feeding this kind of information to Enty.

ReplyDeleteIt's common knowledge that it is Charles who is keeping the girls from working in the firm not Phil. No Royal Duties no money from the 'Sovereign Support Grant' Charles has cut them out of all duties including being seen on the balcony with the family mainly because he hates Andrew with a passion and it's a good way to get back at him for being Mummy's favourite.
Phil is simply the one who hates Fergie with a passion so there will be no remarriage while he lives because the Queen has to give permission or Andrew loses his place in the Royal Line and all his perks, the permission won't be forthcoming while Phil is alive. If Charles were to kick the bucket the girls may get back on the gravy train because both William and Harry are close to them.
A reality show is not on the horizon in any shape or form Andrew is too much of a snob to allow it, though I can believe that Fergie would love the idea.
If you don't work for The Firm, you don't get paid.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's Charles about to croak and not Phillip. A lot of people would be pleased if he predeceased his mother, if only so Camilla wouldn't get anywhere near being Queen, even though she supposedly was never going to get the title, even as consort.

ReplyDeleteMy Mom always told me when I was growing up that Andrew was the Queen's favorite, and that as far as private family matters went, Philip had the final say (Mom's a Brit, we've got some staunch Royalists in her family). So I can see them waiting for old GrumpyPants to pop his clogs...that being said, Beatrice and Eugenie need to get real jobs. Anne's kids/grandkids have all done so much better (and, iirc, are not known as royal highnesses). Andrew is an idiot--his parodies on shows like Spitting Image were dead-on, IMO. And Fergie is an opportunist.
ReplyDeleteCharles is the one who isn't allowing them to work or get allowances. Is he doing it to piss off Andy? Probably. But it's also smart to downsize the royal family. It's easier to keep the monarchy in this century if the public is bankrolling a smaller amt of members. Most people only care about the Queen, Philip, Charles, Will, Kate, Harry and now Meghan. No one is dying to meet those girls.
ReplyDeleteIf there was ever an entitled royal, it's Beatrice. While she had a job at an art gallery, she took 10 vacations in a year! You're not doing manual labor, you don't need that much time off. Imagine how much time off she'd need if she was working royal!!
