Mr. X Blind Item

What comic who had a pretty rough 2017 is rumored to be a surprise presenter for at least one of the big award shows this year? She's allegedly talking to that actor who impersonates a politician to present with her. If he's not available, she's been also talking to that one named legendary singer who she's friends with to co-present and maybe the actor will pre-tape something to "interact" with the two ladies.

  8. Good god, Hollywood — don’t kick yourself in the nuts by giving Kathy Griffin a national stage. Especially if she appears with Alec Baldwin. I like a good Trump roast as much as anyone, but she went too far and wants to keep doubling down on her off color joke. Hollywood needs mass appeal, and to get away from overt political diatribes (especially when they end up making their own cause look extremely bad)

    1. +1 Seachica. These Hollywood dopes think they're more important than they really are; us everyday citizens are more than capable of making up our own minds on the Donald, thank you very much

  10. I love how Kathy Griffin "went to far" with a parody photo, but conservatives are cool with electing child molesters and incompetent old men threatening nuclear war.

Wow you're strong. Look how easy you knocked the straw man over.

    2. Cc — let’s get rid of these straw man, what about arguments. They never lead anywhere but to the bottom. How about we all criticize bad behavior no matter where we see it, and stop trying to put the criticizers down?

      Delete
    3. Look dude. Nobody likes child molestors.

But if you believe only 1 party has a problem, you're letting your ideology glasses blind you to reality

Joe Biden groping a baby boy's crotch.

Open your eyes. It's everywhere. Both parties are guilty. And until we stop it, So are we.

Google "creepy Joe Biden" if this isn't enough to convince you

    4. You'd be shocked if you knew just how corrupt DC is. Both parties, although I mostly worked for one side. DC had better handlers, less drugs and more effective ways of silencing people.

      Well, they did.

Half of what you hear is bogus, because money and publicity are great ways to encourage people to lie.

What you're not hearing about... That's What will make you sick.

  12. Kathy hasn't gone too far until she sexually assaults someone. Until then, let her present. I'm sure she will be in less savory company, anyway.

  13. @justsayin I love The President Show and wish CC would hurry up and renew it for a 2nd season!

If Mel Gibson can be nominated for an Academy Award and let back in to Hollywood. For fucks sake Kathy should be too.

  14. I used to really like Kathy. Particularly the way she arranged her comedy shows in such a adhd type fashion, going from halfway into one story to another then eventually back to the first. But I started to stop paying attention to her because I felt like her comedy never evolved. The same jokes, even done differently, are still the same jokes. And I understand aging doesn't mean you stop having sex, but joking about it so much becomes uncomfortable to watch.

  15. It'll be the Golden Globes. The Oscars take themselves way too seriously for this kind of stunt. Plus it's NBC. Gotta plug Alec & SNL!

    ReplyDelete
  16. One more reason not to watch.
If they're going to reward themselves endlessly for a failing business model and decreasing entertainment bang for the buck, they oould at least put on an interesting show in the process but they never do.

  18. I'm not a big Kathy Griffin person (never was - just in general, she's not my style), but I agree with the posters above. It is *ridiculous* that she's being held to a higher standard than so many of the pervs, lowlifes and monsters out there.

It's like Billy Bush being the only one to experience fallout from the Access Hollywood tape and Al Franken being the only harasser to resign - crazy.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Exactly right. Her personality has always been a bit much but considering the appalling behaviour perpetrated by her male counterparts for years....it begs that we apply the same standard for all

      Delete
  19. I don't think she went too far, I just don't think she's funny.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I don't mind "going after the pervs, low lifes and monsters." That would be entertaining! Go after them during the show. Have a perv/low life/monster roulette. If you are sitting in the wrong seat in the audience you get treboucheted onstage and your sins read out on the teleprompter then you are dismissed from the industry. If they've won awards, those awards are forfeited and reclaimed, in real time. Seriously, I'm that bored and disgusted with this silly self-congratulating industry.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, yes, poor Kathy. She started by stating bluntly that she would attack Trump's minor son. Then she did the head shot, and was seen laughing beforehand. Then: "Oh, I'm so sorry, I went too far." Then she hired defamator-for-hire's daughter to co-host the "He broke me, wah wah snif" press conference. Then it was, "Oh, no, not sorry at all!" followed by "Still not sorry, but please hire me," and now "Not sorry, Anderson Cooper is a shit, I'm practically homeless, please please hire me."

  24. Wasn't she already at 15:02 before this idiotic stunt?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Enty did a blind shortly after this debacle outing the photographer Tyler Shields as having thought up and urging Kathy to do the stunt. He's a scientologist and the theory was he wanted to destroy her career as payback for her scientology jokes. Or something like that.

Kathy will be back. Andy Cohen couldn't get over how cold he was and that New Year's Eve was boring since he didn't get to be the big star and drink as much as he wanted. I predict she'll get that gig back too.

It kills me that Alec Baldwin is still the more famous Trump. The President Show has been consistently funnier with higher-quality writing than SNL's political parodies this year. But doing a skit with Baldwin will get her more Hollywood and ratings points, so good for her. Whatever it takes to get back to normal.

  26. I found Kathy's characters on Suddenly Susan & Seinfeld obnoxious, but her first few Life On The DList specials were hilarious!! I remember even liking the first season of her reality show (I hate most reality tv) and remember feeling bad for her during her divorce when her husband stole money from her. Not long after that though, I found myself no longer enjoying her humor (not sure if I changed, she changed, or a little of both). I like to think I have a pretty good sense of humor, but the way she (and others) went after Trump's underage son as well as the beheading parody were just beyond wrong. I don't care who you voted for, innocent underage children are off limits and the beheading of our President or anyone is just disguisting!! There are many things I don't/didn't like about Trump, Obama, Clinton, etc, but NONE of them or their children deserve what she did, especially when we have truly evil forces like Isis out there actually beheading and torturing innocent people. Sick.

  27. Schneiderisnext, you're awesome on the Church blind, but that is not a photo of Joe Biden fondling a baby's crotch. That is a man helping a mom hold up her baby as they pose for a photo. If I'm wrong, someone call the police because I grabbed my 4 baby's crotches about 10,000,000 times during the years they were small enough to be carried. A baby's crotch is a diaper-covered, inert, non-sexual bodypart to non-pedos.

    1. As a childless person, I'll defer to you just sayin'

However, I've never held a baby that way. I get doing it incidentally as a parent, but this is a staged photo with a practical stranger.

I really can't fathom how or why/you would stage a photo like that.

If Biden wants to hold the baby let him, but in what world is a child so heavy that it takes two people to hold it. It really doesn't look natural.

  28. Kathy Griffin's gross photo was a joke that fell flat - gross and not funny. Donald Trump telling people to attack protesters, saying he agrees with Duterte's idea of shooting drug offenders, telling police to bash arrestees heads against the roof of the car, defending the alt-right who murdered an innocent girl in Charlottesville, picking a nuclear fight with another country...those should be career-ending outrages.

  30. Kathy Griffin is a comedian who made a mistake, get over it.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes...Kathy deserves a second chance. It is Trump who she mocked after all. Why should her career being ruined. She ain't Singer, Spacey or Weinstien.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yep, Kathy fo' shizzle. Her plus Alec will be the ultimate troll. And if they wanted to kick it up a notch they might have her walk on stage gripping a bloody head by its orange hair.

  33. Are there enough people out there thinking "Gee, I really miss Kathy Griffith" to make this stunt worthwhile?

  37. Can we just reanimate Joan Rivers and have her host it?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Joan Rivers is actually a great barometer to measure Kathy Griffin by. She loved Kathy, I doubt seriously she would have abandoned her over the photo like Anderson did. She would have told everyone to "grow up". Both cutting edge, ahead-of-their-time, original-voice female comedians. The world of liberals forgave Joan for her politics, it would be nice if the right would forgive Kathy. A joke's a joke, some just aren't funny. Next...Big deal.

  40. I agree that KG's biggest issue is how she has handled the fall out after the incident. If She had simply apologized and then put herself to good use fighting noble causes, standing up for something good for the world, or i don't know, just layed low. It also would have helped if she was a kinder person and had more allies that weren't dead, shits, or not relevant in today's comedic industry that were willing to vouch for her remorse and overall character, etc. If a dude had done it that wasn't annoying, they would already be taking Matt Lauer's hosting gig, IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  41. You all say to forgive and forget but what if some other LOSER comic did the same with a picture of Obama's severed head. She may not be a clid molester but she ruined her career trying to one up the other lefty comics. She is finished and good riddance.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Obama doesn't have an entire wikipedia page dedicated to his sexual assault accusations. Not offended by what Kathy did... at all.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Isn't KG the one who got into a huge battle with her neighbor because she didn't like the noise when he kids played in the swimming pool? She's touchy one that.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Jeez. Tired old Baldwin again. No doubt he will play the worn-out Trump routine on the award show---AGAIN. The same one he does every week on SNL. How many times do you tell the same joke before it becomes seriously unfunny? After a while you have to wonder if the audience is really laughing at the joke, or at you. Baldwin is beyond sad at this point. He should get down on his knees and thank God for Trump otherwise he wouldn't have much work now.

Kathy Griffin needs all the help that she can get but she will not succeed at a comeback. The $cientology operatives, TMZ, and others will tag team and go in for the kill. She pissed off the wrong set of people, and they know how to hold a grudge and make you pay. What do you think would have happened to Kathy Griffin if she had done a photo shoot with Obama's head? LOL. The level hypocrisy is so astounding that its laughable.

This award show will be another misjudgment on their part. It will be yet another celebration of SJWs virtue signaling with expressions of hatred against the president, the military, the family, heterosexuality, God and Christianity, men, the flag, the national anthem, the USA... and to glorify communism, sloth, everything disgusting and immoral, to promote thug militia who attack innocent people and burn down their communities, to express solidarity with purveyors of violent ideologies, and to silence the voices of those who disagree with them. I have grown weary of these people and their nastiness. I now absolutely despise them and all that they stand for. To me, they are less than nothing. Once you've read Alinsky you instantly recognize his acolytes when you encounter them. I will be among the millions who will not be watching. Screw Kathy Griffin and Alec Baldwin. More than half of America hate them, and their politics, and their buillshit!

The more these losers politicize these award shows the more audience they lose, and the fewer people watching the less the network is able to earn from selling ads. Its a lose-lose effort to double down on their expression of hatred for a man who will still be the president after the show; and, who will forever be cemented in the history books as the 45th president of the USA long, long, long after these Hollywood cretins are dead and forgotten.

    Pathetic!

  48. @just sayin: +100 on all your posts. I personally never like Kathy G, never thought she was funny. But, didn't think her stunt was over the edge. The press conference with Bloom was her mis-step.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Schneiderisnxt +10,000,000.

Kathy's "joke" was way over the line and it has nothing to do with other things that are also over the line, those are different conversations. And most people draw a line at going after kids, she openly boasted that she was going to go after a 10 year old in her act.

I'm neither here nor there politically, but I have always despised Kathy Griffin's brand of "humor". At least if she was witty there would be some sort of redeeming factor to it.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Thanks, Vie Zeen! I agree that everything she said with/about Lisa Bloom was a mistake. She must have been in a PANIC and reacted emotionally and inappropriately. How terrifying and devastating to have everyone in the world turn on you, including your best friends, and your career effectively finished over a joke photo you posed for but wasn't even your idea.
