Favorite meal of the day?

  1. Last night I dated a man who works at the zoo. I think this one's a keeper.

  2. I prefer lunch when I eat it out and dinner when I don't. Because each of those will be my biggest meal of the day. (I rarely eat dinner out.)

  3. Lunch in a dark bar on a rainy day. Otherwise Dinner. Either way it needs to involve booze.

  4. Mark Salling has killed himself. Found in river. Did the crime but couldn't do the time. Tough.

  7. Rot in hell Salling! Prison justice would have done it to you anyhow, you just sped things up.

  8. Since I'm still counting calories to keep my weight down, my favorite meal is usually a snack I sneak thus imploding my daily calorie intact.

I'm still down 40 lbs, though.

    Dieting sucks!

  9. With my schedule/sleep schedule, it's usually one meal and a few snacks. So, whatever tastes the best is my favorite.

  10. Right On, Sandy! He is just the first to off himself. There will be a LOT more in the weeks ahead. Far more famous than he was. Miss you, but don't miss many of the other posters. I am signing out permanently after this post. Take care.

  11. What's the dirt on the Wonder Years thing?
I was scrolling through guest actors and found that in season 6 (1992), there was a bit actor named Stephen Roth playing "dancing boy". It's got to be coincidence (about 5 years too late to be him) but it grabbed my attention. Moving on, I saw two other guest child actors that season that are now deceased (Jon Paul Stuer and Carl Steven). Also a guest star that season was Devon Odessa (thought to be the source of the Heather ORourke/ Rocky Road blind).

I wonder just what was going on on that set. And if "Fred Savage and everyone harassed me" was blowing smoke, and there was other stuff that she saw that they needed covered up...

  13. Coffee & Enty...shocked by Salling news. In jail for child porn on computer? He's DEAD while child rapists get away with their dirty deeds. I hope he left a note where he named names. At least he doesn't have to suffer the horrible urges anymore. RIP

  14. Popcorn, or pizza.

"But Drama, that's not a named meal"

You're goddamn right, I'll eat them when I please. True love doesn't see mealtimes.

  15. I wonder if Salling was a victim himself....so many deaths of young men who were abused. I worked on a NICK show back in the day...Pete & Pete..glad I never saw any bs.

  18. @Kimberly,

It would absolutely break my heart if kids were molested on Pete & Pete. Glad to hear they were probably (?) safe.

  19. Supper, I don't usually eat with any regularity since I am sick and on some strong meds. I love to cook (and eat), but that has taken a back seat to so it's anything that's easy or eating out for us.

  20. Breakfast for dinner. Eggs, sharp cheddar, bacon and whatever else I have.

  21. Any I don't have to cook!

  22. Lunch typically, always skip breakfast. A heavy dinner never sits well with doing anything.

  23. Anything eaten sitting down at a table surrounded by people whose company I enjoy. I grew up in a family that did breakfast and dinner together without fail, and I admit to having a lot of nostalgia for taking the time to make meals a moment of togetherness no matter how busy the rest of the day.

  24. Breakfast....

@Boo H.... wow. Sorry to see you go. Feels like a little family here. Take care.

  25. No actors were molested on Pete & Pete. Ugh.

  26. I mean, breakfast and lunch are great, but supper is what really makes me happy - whether cooking or going out.

  27. @Kimberly were you in front or behind the scenes re: Pete & Pete loved that show

  30. @Boo: you know you and I have not seen eye to eye on many issues, but you should never let other people, especially total strangers from the stupid internet, stop you from expressing your opinions. Especially in this day and age where everyone is trying to shut everyone up.

You are a mature woman with a lifetime of experience under your belt. Shout your shit from the rooftops (even the shit I strongly disagree with), and let the special snowflakes have their safe spaces. You don't need one. You decimate safe spaces. You should be the motherfucking safe-space-terminator.
Something I see myself as, admittedly.

Or at least take a little break, to think about it, but get back to us.

  31. ITA with boredatwork Boo. Take a break, if you must, but don't ever let anyone run you off because they don't agree with you. We are ladies if a certain age with, at times, different viewpoints but I always enjoy and appreciate your stories and would miss them greatly. Please come back when you're ready.
