Blind Item #1

This former A- list mostly television actress from a very hit show is now a B/B- lister. She and her husband have done some shady business deals during their marriage and are always scrambling for money. With a reboot of her show on the horizon, she wants that money all for herself so dumped her husband so he couldn't touch it.

    1. Wait what?! There's going to be a "Charmed" reboot? OMG.

    2. There is, but I don't think any of the three original actresses are involved.

    3. Thanks, Bradford! ✨

I Googled it and some of the actresses are offended that they're calling this reboot a "feminist remake" like the original "Charmed" wasn't empowering enough to women. Which I absolutely agree! Those ladies were legit badass.

It's just that back then, people made pro-women shows without fanfare. They just did it. Now people try too hard and make it a PR event, like a pissing contest to see who can be the most PC. I find it contrived and insincere, and as an Asian woman, I sometimes find that patronising.

  4. When I read the news about her divorce this morning it was the first thing that I thought of.

  5. Tisha Campbell. She's just announced she's filed for divorce, and it all makes sense because they also filed for bankruptcy a couple years ago.

  7. This is Tisha Campbell. But what does her divorce mean for Dwayne and his best buddy Wil Smith?

  9. I agree this reads as Trish Campbell - however a good attorney will agrue that her income is based on contracts signed. If she is already signed on to Martin, future ex can rightfully go after future income from done deals. She should have left him before the deal.

  11. @Just Paige, that rationale only works when the individual has IP rights, like writers or producers receiving royalty payments. I doubt Tisha Campbell is receiving anything other than a paycheck for her labor, so the $$ is earned at the time work is actually performed.

  12. +1 Tisha Campbell I find this strange because she won her lawsuit against Martin Lawrence. So is she going to pay back the money she won in the suit?

They owe big money to the IRS. Good luck keeping those pennies you have left after you pay your legal fees, back taxes, and IRS penalties!
