This A list mostly movie actor is an Oscar winner/nominee and an a-hole. He also convinced his actress girlfriend to quit her latest job to hang out with him more and then dumped her.
It's funny how many actresses date known jerks and are shocked to find out later they're actually jerks. Like did you think he was going to treat you any differently than everyone else?
Every girl wants to save them, help them see the light, be the one that changed everything. The girls want to believe they were the special one. Often it's helped by the guy encouraging them, your the best! My ex was awful!
To Joaquin's favor: I would also try everything to convince Rooney to drop that Vox Lux role. Portman is stupid enough to take it, because she got nothing else, but for Rooney it could be a disaster too much.
