Blind Items Revealed #2

February 2, 2018

This foreign born A list celebrity has always said no to any more of the situations that out her front and center looking ridiculous. That being said, her fashion line is losing money faster than it ever has so a reunion would bring in some cash.

Victoria Beckham/Spice Girls (and two days later an article was published saying she was doing it because her fashion line is losing money.)

  1. I am unconvinced of Victoria Beckham's ability to identify situations which will make her look ridiculous. Unless, it is her goal to appear so, in which case she knows much.

Make it last forever, friendship never ends
If you wanna be my lover, you have got to give
Taking is too easy, but that's the way it is

  3. I know nothing about fashion, but how come VB's line is losing money but the Olsen twins are apparently making money hand over fist with their fashion line? I think I read the late L'wren Scott's line was losing boatloads of money too. I just wonder why the Olsen twins are apparently wildly successful where others are not.

  4. Wonder if her marriage is also crumbling. After all, he isn't supporting her business, and she doesn't want to go the way of L'Wren.

  5. David must have told her no more bailing out money for her business. Perhaps if she got real and made the clothes more affordable and used modelS that were not emaciated, she might have some sales. The tour will help. Not a Spice Girls fan

  6. @DoNotWant: The Row fulfilled a gap in the market, the O Twins were quite clever about their approach. They created a very high end luxe line, that delivers high end materials, but very simple cuts. They made closet staples that do not follow fashion at all, but rely on top end quality. Their leathers are like butter, their cashmere and wool is Italian, same as Chanel or any of those other top end brands.
Instead of creating seasonal must-haves, they created timeless must-haves.

VB did too much fashion. And fashion is fleeting, not to mention the market is saturated with competition in all price ranges.

    1. @boredatwork boredatwork, I would have thought that nothing could interest me less than how the Olsen twins have succeeded in the apparel business, but I found your post fascinating. No sarc, I mean it.

  7. @boredatwork: Thank you for the explanation. I had no idea the Olsen twins had such fashion business acumen. I know VB had a line with Target that I thought I hideous and unflattering, but I guess it did sell out.

  8. Another nice typo by the attorney: "This foreign born A list celebrity has always said no to any more of the situations that out her front and center looking ridiculous."

No more outing of VB, at least not until the tour.

  9. @DoNotwant: me neither. I find them both trollish and creepy, but their line is really nice. They did well and were smart. Very expensive though.

@Doug: Thanks. Sometimes I ramble. Keeping my explanation short might have helped me in keeping you fascinated ;)

  10. @DoNotWant - I own some stuff from the Olsens' line. It's very work friendly & easy to mix & match.

  11. I guess the affiliation with Target hasn’t paid off yet.

  13. One of the reasons VB's line isn't doing well (this style was from a few years back):

  14. @Doug. Having a typo does not prove he's not an attorney. Most attorneys can't type worth a damn. That's why they have legal assistants and paralegals that do it for them. I could care less if Enty is an attorney or not but, speaking as a paralegal myself, I assure you that having typos, poor sentence structure and not using punctuation does not prove anything.
