  1. My doctor put me in a neck brace 6 months ago.

I have not looked back since.

  3. My archnemesis, Meryl. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I can't sleep at night because I'm consumed by hate and envy that she's been nominated again.

  4. Saorise is going to break Kate Winslet's record of most Oscar nods before 30. Hopefully she also won't be looking at going 0-5 before bringing home her first (of many, as I believe she is the most talented actress currently working).

Ronan was amazing in "Lady Bird". Sadly for her, Frances McDormand was just that much better in "Three Billboards".

  5. I'll give this one to Frances.

  6. Francis. Just with the slight chance of her telling the "wrap it up" music to Awww Fuck Off

  8. Frances McDormand.

  9. This is overly fawning (seriously, the writer's nose was found in Meryl's stool a week later), but fun to watch "everybody's favorite" lose and feign happiness.

  10. I think Frances McDormand will win, and she was good but frankly playing a crabby old broad isn't much of a departure for her. I would be happy to see Saorise win, but I'm not sure her role was meaty enough. My top pick is probably Margot Robbie with Sally Hawkins a close 2nd.

I did not see The Post, so no comment on Meryl. Yawn.

  11. Frances.

Meryl is been there, done that.

The others are younger, and have got time.

At least that's how the old men in the academy will think of it.

  12. I didn't like the movie that much, but Sally Hawkins should win this in a runaway. She was amazing.

  13. It would be cool if Sally would deaf sign her acceptance speech but I will have to go with
Frances because her no hairdo no makeup
off the the rack dress look. Horrifies all the gals in the audience

  14. Frances will, and should. 3BB has its issues, but she's not one of them. In fact, her performance glosses some of the bigger writing decisions that wouldn't have landed had a lesser actress taken the role. She's fully deserving of it.

  19. I love Frances, but it should be Hawkins. Phenomenal acting.

  20. McDormand should win, although the movie is ridiculously overrated.

  26. Will win: Frances McDormand
    Should win: Sally Hawkins

Sally Hawkins should have won for Made in Dagenham but she wasn't even nominated. That was an amazing performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbjSOt7NxIY

  27. Please not Meryl. Sooooo sick of her.

  28. Team Margot. I don't think she'll win, but she was fantastic.

    I'm good with Frances too.

  29. Saorise Ronan she is already a two time Oscar nominee and she is only 23. The Academy loves giving Oscars to young, thin, and pretty white females. It is either Ronan or Margot Robbie.

  30. Just saw I Tonya. I thought it was a very thin characterization for Tonya, and Margot Robbie was miscast.

I guess I would vote for Saoirse Ronan but I'm not really passionate about any of these nominees for this category this year
