It is all coming together now for me. I could never understand why this foreign born Victoria' Secret model was hooking up with the permanent A list old songwriter/producer every month or so. I assumed she was hard up for cash. She might be, but it turns out she is hooking up with the old guy in return for him helping out with the career of her boyfriend. Apparently he is actually helping too and not just having sex with her.

DeleteAs an aside, I always chuckle when people refer to Camille as a ‘Victoria’s Secret Model’...she walked in their fashion show (as a replacement) once and has never had any other work with the brand.

ReplyDeleteSuccess trumps self esteem in the entertainment industry. That said, the real crime is that sexual favors are required by the powerful. Either help someone or don't, don't require someone to chose between their dignity and success.

ReplyDeleteIs it just me that feels shocked each time there is a new blind here? I mean, it's sickening to see how many famous people are problematic. I don't know if it's because I grew up in a small town but it's honestly hard to believe that people can be so bad and problematic, it just feels horrible to know that at least 90% of the actors/singers/producers we grow up looking up to are horrible people.

ReplyDeleteIf a family member donates a kidney, it's because they would be donating the kidney to their transplant needy family member but it's not a match. In which case, doctors look in the UNOS registry for a similar person who is a match for the needy family member and has a relative who can donate a kidney. It's done as a trade, or a chain where each person who gets a kidney also has a family member who donates to another person in the chain.
It's not like this at all.
