Speaking of bad acting, this B+ list mostly movie actress with A+ list name recognition and a lucrative side gig is still a terrible actress according to the crew on set. Lucky for her that her new movie doesn't really require much actual acting other than reaction shots to action sequences. Good for her though that she got a headlining gig again though. I honestly didn't think that would happen again outside an indie movie.

hudson, dakota, and goop would also probably say from acting families. and goop would be an oscar nom/ winner. though none of those are good actors.

Trainwreck and that other movies with Goldie Hawn were just constant "cut to Amy doing "surprised" face" or "Cut to Amy doing "frowny" face". She can't act, at all, she just makes faces and delivers lines woodenly.

ReplyDeleteTo be different, I'm going with Jennifer Aniston for this one. The movie is Dumplin'. She's a mostly movie actress now, with A+ list name recognition. She's probably B+ list, although I'd rate her a D-. She's probably had more bombs than any other actress in recent years but they keep giving her lead roles. Her new headlining gig: recently in the news that she's going to be teaming up with Adam Sandler to make a Netflix movie. She also has a lucrative side gig with her perfume line.

ReplyDeleteOut of Katie Holmes, Megan Fox Fox and Jessica Alba (i.e , actresses who generate a lot of disdain who I genuinely like), the Jessica Alba hate always throws me off. I guess I always put her in the Paul Walker category of actors...attractive with limited range, but very good within it and fairly decent people.
