This former almost A+ list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee saw her career fall off a cliff when she split with a guy who had the ability to take some professional revenge. She was out of the country this week for business and has a boyfriend, but it didn't stop her from having "dinner" with a guy for almost six figures.

ReplyDeleteSwank left lowe for another man, and it caused her really bad publicity at the time and her career never really went anywhere after that. Not sure if it was a revenge thing, or a PR thing, as Chad has a nice guy image.

In October 2011, Swank attracted controversy for attending an event in Chechnya's capital Grozny on the 35th birthday of Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov on October 5. After wishing him "Happy birthday, Mr. President", she reportedly claimed knowledge about Kadyrov saying, "I read. I do my research." Following criticism from human rights groups, that reported having informed her about the human rights abuses in Chechnya prior to the event and asked her to reconsider her participation, Swank said she was unaware that Kadyrov had been accused of human rights violations and that she "deeply regrets" taking part in the lavish concert. She donated her personal appearance fees "to various charitable organizations".
She then fired her managment...I have a feeling that the relationship ended riiiight before this.

Wasn't she in another blind where she was offering her "services" at a foreign weekend event with a hostile leader and she was unhappy because someone else was getting paid a lot more than her? Sorry, I'd have to find the blind but apparently she's not new to the sport.
