Blind Item #17

Continuing his trend of being the biggest a-hole to people who can do him no good is this winter athlete turned reality star. Wow he was awful to people at a recent event this week.

  1. I can't stand this shtick about him being the "first openly gay athlete" or whatever. I'm sure a lot of the skaters who came before are thinking "you mean we had to tell people we were gay to get credit?"

  2. I'm pretty sure you didn't want to bend over for a bar of soap while showering with Dick Buttons back in the day.

    Just for example.

  3. So DWTS might be a little interesting?

  4. Rippon always comes across as insufferably smug and arrogant. He needs to be the first one voted off DWTS, then maybe he'll learn some humility.

  5. I can't stand him. And I thought Greg Louganis was the first openly gay Olympic athlete.

  6. @Freckles,IKR? Good news for me,the last one was a snooze. I bet he hits on a dancer, they need a gay romance for publicity.

  7. Greg Louganis was in the 1984 and 1988 Olympics. He didn't come out until 1994.

  8. Remember when David Letterman's mom asked Brian Boitano if he sewed his own costumes?

  9. I still think it's funny that Johnny Weir wasn't considered out. If there ever was a person for whom coming out was completely redundant, it is him.

Also? I hate these Captcha things with the power of a million suns.

  10. +1 Brian. I read that Johnny Weir's totally pissed that Adam Rippon got this title.

  11. Wait, Greg Louganis is gay?

  12. I don't give a bleep about gay, this guy is just a total d-bag. Idiot media gave him a platform because they thought it would hurt Trump in some way. Morons.

  13. Everyone that's ever mentioned this little douchebag has a negative opinion of him. HOW is he getting any kind of attention or potential job offers? Everything about him makes me physically cringe.

  14. Totally would have guessed Shawn White, but Rippon makes more sense.

  15. Me too, Terry Teratoma. Thought it was Shawn at first read.

  16. If gays are supposed to be so style-conscious why does this guy have a worse comb-over than my 95 year old Dad ?
He should go for the Trey Gowdy look.

  17. That obnoxious Rippon guy, so full of himself. Calm down a little You're not Hanyu sweetheart and even him is lovely and humble.

  18. I don't understand how he holds the spotlight because no one I know straight or gay likes him. Everyone sees him as a glory hound wielding his sexuality like trophy when really all that matters is whether you can win a medal or not and whether you're an asshole or not, and this guy fails on both counts.

It's been going on so long now I'm nearly to the point of thinking he's a psy-op from some self-hating closeted CIA guys.

More likable gay athletes please come out so we can push this guy off the stage!

  19. Rippon is the first WINTER USA openly gay athlete and Gus Kenworthy is the second. Kenworthy wasn't out when he won silver in 2014 but was out for this year.

Rippon has let this all go to his head. Kenworthy is so much more of a grounded guy, I wish he had been out in 2014.

  20. Adam Rippon is not mentally well. I would not be surprised if he comes out as straight, claiming he was experimenting. I'm telling yoy, he ain't playing with a full deck of cards.

I wanna see if he and Tonya Harding have an altercation.
