This foreign born A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee went six weeks without even contacting her young children. This is not the first time. She likes to pretend they don't exist and seems to only show up when she is forced to by circumstances.

      @totaji - If you're using Chrome, you can enable a new "redirect" ad blocking flag. I was getting tons of those pop-up virus notices and other ads that you can't back out of on this site. The fix works flawlessly for me. You get a notice every time a redirect ad is blocked.

      I downloaded a new browser just for CDAN. It's called Ad Blocker Browser or something like that.

    This is hardly unusual. My sister in law is like this. She honestly couldn't care less about the kids. In the rare time she spends with them, she is impatient and shows zero affection.

    Kidman was born in Hawaii so can't be her. I can imagine this being Charlize. I mean, I know this sounds terrible but if you are on set far away and your family or say current or ex husband Dad is watching them is it that big of a deal? I guess maybe so with young children.

    I'm going to go with Cate after all. She has 4 kids and is married. Charlize having two and no spouse seems less likely to leave them. Cate could justify they were in loving hands and they are. They also have each other. Not making excuses but trying to 'think like' a working actress mom might in being away so long.

    @kiki71, no matter how busy you are you dont go 6 weeks without contacting your children. I am 30 and live in a different continent from my parents and yet everyday like clockwork i receive a call from them, It might be for a minute only but the call always comes. If i dont call them or dont pick up for some reason i have to endure yelling from their side!
