I always give her credit for trying. This former tween show actress who was way older than a tweener when she headlined it is out in the desert and making the rounds at every party and talking to as many people as she can. She was also out with fans taking selfies with anyone who asked. She did voice mail recordings and signed autographs. She is trying her best to land a gig other than product placement.

ReplyDeleteWhen my children were younger, I was a Disney channel / Nick connoisseur, and I always found Bridgit Mendler charming and adorable. Just looked her up on IMDB and the less said the better, I guess. Too bad.
ReplyDeleteWe have seen Disney/Nick players ma k e it in singing (some) but in last 10 years have any really gone on to successful TV or movie careers? All the ones I can think of fail to make that jump - at leaSt to any level of prominence. They get passed by people who never did Disney/Nick. Prognosis not great for a Peyton List given lack of success of those before her.

ReplyDeleteBecause of having a daughter, I watched almost every episode of her TV show. Victoria Justice worked hard and was just as talented as many of the other Nick actresses (not a high bar.) She probably needs new management.
