Blind Item #7

Speaking of cancer, this rock and roll icon who doesn't sing or write or play an instrument, but is the subject of numerous songs and controls a musical empire is battling terminal cancer. She is amazing and I hope she somehow pulls through.

    2. Ah, good guess. She doesn't sing, but she "sings".

    3. She has sung and written a ton of music.

    4. It can't be Yoko. Blind says this person is amazing!

  3. I thought Pattie Boyd too but I don't think she controls a musical empire. Probably Sharon Osborne's cancer has returned?

  4. Pattie Boyd wrote a book and she doesn’t control an empire so it’s not her.

  5. "subject of numerous songs", that could be Yoko...what songs are about Sharon Osborne?

    1. Yoko screams I mean sings and writes music so it's not her...plus she is like 80 or 82 so if cancer doesn't get her something else will.

    I'm sure there's others.

  10. Who controls a musical empire? Someone's widow?

    1. Pretty sure Sharon is in control of everything Ozzy.

  11. Yoko doesn't "sing", I think her "music" violates the Geneva Convention.

  12. I like the Yoko guess but she does write and perform. It does sound like a widow.

    Maybe Olivia Harrison?

  13. Yoko doesn't sing, she creates soundscapes through artistic interpretation.

  14. yikes, yeah, probably Yoko.

  15. Leaning towards Sharon Osborne, though I wonder if they would have mentioned a previous cancer bout? Or that might have been too obvious.

  17. Goota be Olivia.
She very much control's George's legacy. They were together since 1974 so he wrote many songs about her.

  18. Does Priscilla Presley run Elvis's estate?

  19. I hope it's not Olivia, I really do. Sharon Osborne, would the world be less colorful than if she died? Probably, I love her spirit. Yoko does everything musical including sing, but she has not sung in many years, I don't think. So help me, if this is Patty Boyd...

  20. +1 Sara I agree on the Olivia Harrison. Sharon really does not fit.

  22. Sharon has been MIA since November. That's too bad. Poor Ozzy

  23. The Osbournes have been doing a podcast every week. It's pretty funny. Sharon sounds fine.

  24. Sharon is on the Talk, nearly every fucking day.
    Def not MIA.
SHARON CONTROLS ALL THING OZZY, BUT.
Sorry about caps lock shouting but it’s really hard to post on this site and I don’t wanna redo.

  26. Or possibly Iman, god forbid.

I'd say Katherine Jackson but I don't think any songs were written for her, and boy I hope not because that would leave Joseph in charge.

  27. Definitely not Yoko! She sings! She writes! She recently did a live cover of Katy Perry's "Fireworks" that stands among her most distinctive performances.

  29. +1 Brayson. Trying to guess this one makes me kind of sad tbh.

  30. Not Yoko, she had a band and they put out several albums.

  31. Pamela Des Barres is a breast cancer survivor. I hope she has not had a recurrence.

  33. Priscilla Presley maybe. Can't be Lisa Marie. If this is Sharon Osborne she must have recently found out. I hope this person pulls through.

  34. pattie boyd was my first thought too but she doesn't control any empires and idk i just can't see enty describing her as "awesome". not that there's anything wrong with her, just that like, idk, i read her memoir and the most interesting parts in it were about george. i think this is sharon. i hope she's ok too. i always liked her

  35. Sharon Osbourne.

    My Sharon-a for the song.

  36. This icon doesn't sing or write, but Sharon has numerous credits for both.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @just sayin, sharon has singing credits? i never knew that! from when?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't think anyone's mentioned Patti D'Arbanville yet...she's not right for this blind, but Cat Stevens wrote "Wild World" and "Lady D'Arvanville" about her.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Could having a huge catalogue of photos of rock stars be in control of "a musical empire"? Pattie Boyd was a photographer back in the day and her pieces sell for good money. No, I don't think so either.

  40. The April 16 editiin of Globe claims Hillary Clinton has brain cancer & is planning her own funeral (pg. 45). Reminds me of the blind item about people being assassinated via injection of cancer cells or cancer causing agents. I think that blind was from last year.

  41. Cynthia Plastercaster?

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Katty Plaster Caster! She's definitely part of rock n roll history and has songs about her, but I don't think she controls a musical empire

I gotta go Sharon. Between Ozzy/BS catalogue, some songs about her, Ozzfest, the tv shows, she's definitely an icon. I hope her cancer hasn't returned or worsened.

Hell, in a perfect world this wouldn't be anyone. Cancer is just awful.

    ReplyDelete
  43. George wrote quite a few ballads for Olivia. She fits everything but the icon part.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Sharon had a previous bout with cancer but she seems so vital.

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Sekrit yeah,Cynthia has her collection of rock (cock?) memorabilia which might be worth quite a bit of dollar, but not enough to be classed as an empire. I'm not sure if she even owns them now?

    ReplyDelete
  46. I doubt it's Sharon, because she's far from amazing....

If by "amazing" you mean: cheating working musicians out of song writing/music composing credits for hit songs (like Bark at the Moon) and remastering classic tracks with new studio musicians - so the original players stop receiving royalties.

I'm amazed at the way America seems to see her as a gentle English grandma type, when she's so ruthless.
