A very close colleague of the deceased rock star is rumored to be going public soon with some revelations that are going to be very unpleasant for the widow and her family if they get out. This person doesn't care about non disclosure stuff, so batten down the hatches. The widow has also hired more people to do their trolling and are playing both sides of the troll war to really increase the war of words. Some he was prescribed. To amend my earlier statement, it sounds to me like Chris was engaging in addict behavior using Big Pharma drugs rather than street drugs.
It happens every time a much beloved person dies. No one is willing to believe the simple case facts, since people think their idol had so much more to give. Yoko has never lived down the rumor that she killed John nor Courtney that she killed Kurt, though there is nothing implicating either of them beyond fan fiction (and believe me, I tried myself to make Courtney responsible and NOTHING came of it.)

To me in my less than expert opinion, it sounds like Chris was taking a combination of drugs to deal with anxiety and depression, mixing them as he saw fit. My (total) conjecture is that he wanted to be alert for performances but was chasing sleep by any means possible while touring. Guess what. One of the ways to achieving calm and sleepiness is masterbation. Like with Michael Hutchence, I think this could be an autoerotic asphyxiation. It's really rather poignant that Chris was doing so much NOT to revert to street drugs. It shows how strongly he wanted to stay strong and sober that he didn't revert to using them. But he still had the same issues that drove him to drugs, the same panic and anxiety.
Or as a life long sufferer of depression, the suicidal ideation that accompanies depression finally overcame him when no combination of drugs seemed to be relieving anything, not legal, not illegal, none of it could put the breaks on his internal despair.
I really don't see how there is any more to it than that. What do you think?

The one small ray of hope, given the Sinclair propaganda network, is that local news is dying. I don’t know his history with headaches. I’m basing my opinion off of the drugs found in the tox report, along with the fact he wore tinted
lenses in his eyeglasses. He had 2 commonly prescribed medications in his system and 2 over the counter meds. It looks like he went out of his way to AVOID taking stronger, more successful drug combinations, to combat the headaches.
I have suffered from tension/migraine headaches since childhood. I’ve been to Neurologists and have had CAT/MRI scans to rule
anything else out. Research has grown in the last 30+ years to treat Headaches but has a long way to go, IMO.
I know hardly anyone will read this thread, a week later. I feel better getting another perspective out there.
Okay, now I get it. Thanks for the explanation. Vicky's activities are unknown to me, except what I've read on this board. One thing, you can't find one single article on Cornell's death that doesn't have a comment by Vicky. Not one. Even the toxicology reports have the same tired Vicky quotes. That might be the activity of someone trying to cover their bases, I don't know.
