Blind Items Revealed #3

March 27, 2018

The recent suicide of this K Pop star was because he was about to be outed in a secret recording. He didn't have any money to pay the blackmailer.

Shouldn't the band change their name to 80%?

  9. That is so sad. Who cares who you love!!! A life is a life, he should have been able to live his life and love whoever he wanted to love! This is 2018! Really?! What do we care, who are we to judge! This is so sad

    1. Korea is a VERY conservative country. The LGBTQ+ community is not well-received there. Sadly, this news doesn’t surprise me.

  11. I’m very familiar with the kpop industry and it is pretty vile. Jonghyun could’ve also fit into this category if he didn’t have money.

  12. I live in Korea, and I cannot see how these K-pop stars make any money. There are like 15 members in a group. After the record company, manager, agents, etc. all take their cut, how much can you really make? Also take into consideration even monster success solo acts in the States like Michael Jackson and Prince at to fight to get every dime they earned. The whole thing is a big scam.

  13. I haven't been in CDAN for a few months but since when did enty start to make blinds about KPop stars? Especially from a band that I haven't even heard of? Is the market for KPOP really growing in the US?

  14. You'd be surprised, @MissD. In the last three years, I've seen about five or six friends fall down the Kpop rabbit hole very quickly and very heavily. They post videos from the Kpoppers performing over here and these places are jam packed. Mostly with young girls but a surprising amount of women over 21 as well. My married friends with kids and careers send me pictures of these pretty boys humping and licking the air, talking about how 'delicious' they are.
I'm happy to say that this is not for me.
