ReplyDeleteI’m no Kathy Griffin fan. But Andy Cohen literally made his entire career off of participating in and encouraging petty mean girl antics. Anyone would be a fool to trust him.

ReplyDeleteGenerally, I like Kathy, but when she went on her rant last year, it sounded like she was trying to use #MeToo to go after people she just has professional grievances with.
Kathy didn't do anything to Andy...he was lobbying to get her New Year's gig even before her photo scandal, completely trashed her afterward and encouraged Anderson to dump her as a friend. Kathy's a straight edge person who doesn't drink or drug...this puts her in the right re. the coke comment. It's still okay in this world to be a teetotaler...it's not our job to enable or protect users just because drugs are "cool" (they're not, btw).

Andy Cohen said on Howard Stern the other day "Why would I offer coke to someone who he knows doesn't drink or take drugs" He also said he doesn't even like coke.

ReplyDeleteSaying he doesn't like coke isn't the same as saying he doesn't do it. I'm sure all of us know someone who says "oh, I don't like __" and then goes off and drinks or does a whole lot of whatever they claimed they didn't like. Offering guests coke may be a way to get them to do a more "fun" or dishy interview too.
