Bay's an asshole but he's also an alpha, he has zero need to bully or harass women into couching for him. Speaking of Weinstein Goop has been on the Stern show vomiting up that bullshit story about that one time Howard got all handsy with her and how Brad like totally threw him against a wall and then everyone clapped and gave her an Oscar for feminism. @jesserice my hatred of Tarantino has more to do with his fanboy film-making. Peckinpah lived a hard life and filmed violence as way of sad poetry to showcase how violence affects us and how brutal it truly is. Tarantino uses it because he thinks it's cool and is most concerned with fantasy. Does he have talent? Yes Has he made "some" good films? Yes.
Is he a filmmaker with depth on par with Peckinpah, Schlesinger, or even Penn?

The Manson movie should be mothballed. At the end of the day, the director is going to end up using the killings as a source of visceral excitement, and that would be an example of exploitation that hits too close to home for many in the industry.
It's one thing to film violence between Nazis and Allied agents (Inglorious Basterds) as harmless "fantasy" fun; it's another to risk glorifying Charles Manson (Rot In Hell) and his sordid bunch of brain-dead junkies.
Tarantino has made some excellent films, but I can't bear to watch them anymore. "Hateful 8" is one of the most despicable films of the 21st century on so many levels.

Explosive is just a figure of speech, I don’t think it necessarily serves as a reference to Michael Bay’s films.
