Today's Blind Items - The Payments

If you have ever wondered how this former A list mostly movie actor who is basically a disgraced bum at this point in his life has enough money to live on every year, it is not because of his residuals. It is because of something that happened a couple decades ago. There was this very young actress on the set of this very very hit movie. She really had no reason to be in the movie, but this A+ list director always finds a reason. Apparently our former A list actor found the director molesting the young actress. They made a deal and our actor agreed to not tell anyone. The actor then joined in on the molesting. The actor has money deposited in his bank account every month or legal bills paid when he needs it. It is why the actor still can get work too, when so many others wouldn't be able to.

  13. As Captain Edmund Blackadder once said, "You see, Baldrick, there is one tiny flaw in your plan....It's bollocks."

So if the actor joins in the abuse then that negates any reason to pay out any hush money.

Actor: "So pay me umpteen million dollars or I go to the cops. Sp***berg! I saw you fuck that teen up the ass!"

Director: "I know! You were tonsil fucking her at the other end!"

  30. @Lonely Bastard has a point. The only way this could work is if the actor, who is disgraced, kept his hands clean. Maybe if the actor molested the actress on separate occasions without the director knowing, the blind could work; but the blind isn't clear. It makes it seem as if both molesters were involved at the same time, and that ruins the actor's leverage on the director.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Not really. The director has a lot more to lose than the disgraced actor.

  31. Anna McGuire would have been 9 when the movie filmed. And there was no reason for her to be in it. Sizemore has been publicly accused by a ( a different) young actress of fondling her. He is also a known addict and was a respected actor from awhile. I believe it's who we all think it is. There have been so many rumors for so many years. It's a Harvey Weinstein kind of thing where all of Hollyweird has heard them.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Not really, if he's a bum what does he have to lose while the successful director will have everything to lose.

    ReplyDelete
  33. @AJ, no need to apologize, you probably got it right. I wonder if the victim gets a check, but I doubt it. The thing is,this actress is no longer a public figure,so we should be more careful with those reveals. The way these are written, the temptation to guess is there. Sometimes, you can tell the victim is the one putting the story out.

Yeah, Sizemore fits. and to those who keep saying it can't be him because he still gets work -- read the last line of the blind. "It is why the actor can still get work too..."

    ReplyDelete
  37. Anonymous11:09 AM

Also, for those who don't think Sizemore was A list -- he may not have had a lot of lead roles, but for a while there he was heavily in demand. He was A list supporting star, for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Not really. The director has a lot more to lose than the disgraced actor.

That depends on when the actor became disgraced. If the disgraced actor became so long after the molesting, and he became disgraced for something other than pedophilia, then it wouldn't make sense for the actor to engage in, and become complicit in, the director's pedophilia.

The "when" part isn't clear in the blind.

    ReplyDelete

Dan Akroyd? What the fuck is wrong with you people? A. he's not disgraced or a bum, B. he's been married to Donna Dixon for 35 years, and there's never been a hint of scandal, except possibly him being hard to work with because he's on the autism spectrum, and C. he's been working his ass off since he was on SNL and has never stopped, and nobody wonders why he's still working. He wouldn't need a director putting money into his account, with the work he's done.

Sometimes, the bullshit you people blurt out is hysterically pathetic.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Can this really be SS? Surely he's A+++ or 'perm/legend' level?

Could it be something Tim Burton related? I've no idea if Tim is a 'bad guy' - but his creepy films just leave me wanting to need a shower afterwards.

    Or Ron Howard related?

Or would James Cameron have slipped in ranking? With all the talk about Eliza Dushku on the set of True Lies, perhaps there was more going on at that set than just deviant stuntmen.

    ReplyDelete
  52. From what I read re Himmmm's comments, there was way too much speculation and amateur detective work in trying to deduce their identities. I don't know if it was on here that it got out of hand, but they must have gotten fed up because they haven't been back (as far as I can tell) since. Of course its always one or two that ruin it for everyone. I'm sorry theyre gone

  53. SS the kiddie diddler of boys and girls strikes again!

Saving Ryan's Privates and Schindler's Fist

    Tom Sizemore x 1000000000000

To those that think the blackmailer's power/leverage is somehow lost simply because he may have participated in the nefarious deeds, you are incredibly mistaken. As others have noted, all that matters is the target's fear of being accused/outed. SS would most definitely do anything and everything in his power to prevent that, particularly with the "rumor" mill already running full tilt on him.

Not only that, does anyone really think Sizemore is mentally stable enough to NOT just kamikaze himself and taken anyone and everyone down with him he possibly can, let alone the great SS, if he has anything on them? I could see him as the type to not give a flying fuck about self incrimination if the money spigot shut off. Most surprising bit of this BI, presuming it is true, is SS allowing himself to be blackmailed rather than arranging a hot dose/"accident" for Tommy Boy. Much less deadly than his partner in crime DG in that regard if any/all of the BIs are valid.

  54. Well if it's Sizemore, and you're looking for a very very hit movie a couple of decades ago, then all you've got is Saving Private Ryan and Heat.

  59. As others have said, you can blackmail a co-conspirator if he has far more to lose than you do. Especially if the amount you're asking for is peanuts for him, which sounds like the case here. You also have more leverage if there are rumors that this is a regular habit for him, so going public on this one might lead to all his secrets being blown open.

  81. Jeeze, the "Steven Spielberg is a pedophile" blind item of the day... How unexpected...

At this point, some people may wonder why one of the five or six most powerful Hollywood players has paid so much money to cover the fact that he plays "hide the sausage" with little girls, and yet, the stories get published here on a daily base. Here are a few theories:

    - Spielberg himself suffers from split personalities, the one you only witness in Hollywood films, and reveals his own crimes here, using his remorseful personality
    - a FBI task force is close to arresting Spielberg. They're already testing public reaction to the arrest by giving people a sample of Spielberg's crimes on this blog.
    - somebody got access to Spielberg's lawyer's files and is giving us a digest of the most secretive transactions conducted on his behalf, and nobody can stop this, even the lawyers of some guy whose fortune is valued at more than $3b. Or it could be blackmail.
    - Enty found somebody obsessed by Spielberg, who is making up stories against him. Enty doesn't give a damn about the authenticity of these stories, but knows for a fact that they're good stuff for traffic here

It must be the 20th or 30th Spielberg story published here. Spielberg and child molestation may be the worst kept secret in the industry (but nobody had ever mentioned it before this series of blind items), but the stories seem to come from somebody who's followed Spielberg during his entire career. When it's too good to be true, it's because it isn't true.

For the record, Tom Sizemore needed so much money at some point during his drug addict years that he tried to sell his own sex tapes, filmed with prostitutes with hidden cameras, while, at the same time, he was starring in Christian thriller The Genius Club. Anyway, unless Spielberg is totally dumb (which the blind item implies), he wouldn't let the young actress be also molested by the guy who's a fucking psycho AND crack smoker, because these people aren't the most trustworthy.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Also, the current Himmmms are a bunch of former frat boys, some nobodies in the system, who are trying to relive their supposed glory days, by writing stories they had heard about, more legend than fact to begin with, as if they were the lead character in a tale that always involves booze, cars, vomit, the objectification of women, a lot of humblebrag, and major industry players.

If you have half a brain, the whole "I almost saw Jaime Pressley naked twenty years ago, she actually covered me in her pee, and, by the way, you're not supposed to reveal I'm actually celebrated director Paul Thomas Anderson, even if I'm constantly dropping clues about it" story from February or March was an obvious fabrication. The story was poorly constructed, like a bad The Hangover impersonation. "Paul Thomas Anderson" would just describe his ex-girlfriend of many years, Fiona Apple, as the "heroin-chic" face of these days. When I raised doubts about the whole accuracy of the tale, and called the guy a poser who would use Anderson's notoriety to get attention about a bullshit story, he started to call me names, and revealed an anecdote that his good friend Thomas Pynchon had shared with him.

You see, the thing is that Thomas Pynchon is a highly respected novelist, who is also extremely elusive, as there must be two authentificated photographs of him, and they're both more than 50-year-old. Paul Thomas Anderson adapted one of his novels, "Inherent Vice," three years ago. He did press for this, but every interview mentioned that "PTA" wouldn't answer any question about him and Thomas Pynchon, including whether he had actually met him. Cut to three years later, when an anonymous Paul Thomas Anderson is so eager to win a debate with a nobody on some blog that he reveals he had conversations with Pynchon. Yeah, right...

Maybe, "Himmmm", when it was four or five years ago, had more proper access to good sources and was cautious. That's why it worked. 2018 "Himmmmms", in their second or final coming, were a bunch of guys who were trying to impress people by showing how cool they were, how many legends (preferably dead) they had met, with just the caveat that they would end up with a huge hangover the day after, so it would be an humblebrag. They were looking for validation with increasingly dubious stories, as if they mostly wanted to get their ass kissed, like the bigwigs they were desperately trying to emulate. And you are the people who were supposed to kiss these asses, nothing more.
