Blind Item #12

With a very extravagant lifestyle to support and no real money coming in, this still one hit wonder has gone through all of his savings and been dipping into places he shouldn't, just to keep up appearances. His significant other has no idea and thinks the money will never stop. I'm waiting for the not paying child support or getting really far behind because that is usually the first public sign and will unravel his world.

  2. Enty do you NOT understand after being yelled at all these years, he is NOT a one-hit wonder?

    1. Minor "hits" on the R&B charts do NOT count as hits on the big chart. He is indeed a one-hit wonder.

  3. Sigh, I say the same thing about Iggy Azalea, the struggle is real.

  10. And didn't the Marvin Gaye estate get the royalties for blurred lines?

  11. that lawsuit where he has to pay damages along w/pharrell for copying the blurred lines beat, plus he has nothing outside his inheritance which he has probably run thru. I cant think of the other song robin thicke was famous for besides 'blurred lines' tbh, so i understand enty's constant one-hit-wondering of him.

  12. the domestic violence allegations will probably surface...and dipping into where he shouldnt likely means money meant specifically for his son

  13. He and Pharrell stole it. Remember, though, Robin gave zero credit to Pharell for this song/music, but then decided in court to admit Pharrell for being the one who wrote it. Pharrell even said he didn't mind that he didn't get credit. Just playing the game, I guess.

  14. Robin Thicke he lost his mind with that huge hit.. He's had other 10 ten songs, but none as huge as Blurred lines.. When I heard the song, I knew it was Marvin Gaye song.. I Happy his family won and I wish all the older entertainers would sue for rappers stealing their song..
I know some of the pay the families up front to use their music and some off the back end.. They are not creative enough to write and produce hits for themselves...

  15. Robin and his Brothers are fighting with Alan's widow over the estate. It's pretty nasty. I thought he was gonna go into the cannabis business with his brother.

  16. Lost Without You was a big hit here in the US.

  17. "One Hit Wonder" is a pretty subjective term. There is the technical version, something like M "Pop Muzik", which was their only single to chart. Some people would consider a single top 40 song, with another song or two that barely scraped the charts, a one hit wonder. Or it could be someone like Vanilla Ice, who has a somewhat legendary hit and isn't really known for anything else today, yet his followup single actually made the top 5.

And FWIW, Robin's "Lost Without U" hit #14 on the Hot 100.

  18. Thought the law suit was a travesty. And having now learned about the blinds about MG makes it worse.

  19. Robin Thicke and Igloo Azaria ARE one hit wonders!!! It doesn't matter if you're a weirdo pop music enthusiast and listened to more of their crap than the ONE song that broke through to major radio airplay, but THAT is what defines a one hit wonder. Which is what they are.
