  2. You do NOT let Vladimir down and get away with it. Who ever it is may very soon have much more pressing issues than substance abuse.

  3. Jason Derulo pulled out of singing world cup anthem

  4. Upside of the World Cup opening ceremony: Only ten minutes long.

Downside of the World Cup opening ceremony: Robbie 'Fame ends at the White Cliffs of Dover' Williams was fucking singing for those ten minutes. The smug little Stokie dancer was in his fucking element. He looked like a 65 year old drag queen without the make up.

  5. Ahhh, wondered why no official anthem. Lucky for the world that Robbie Williams was about to sing a medley of his hits. Probably a symbol that England will win the World Cup

No shit. BLM have no idea how easy they have it in America compared to the French or Russian police who will just kick your brains out for thinking about jaywalking

  8. I was working and not paying attention and had no idea who was singing. I actually liked one of the songs. I'm going to have to induce vomiting now.

I didnt know that any other soul outside of Old Blighty was aware of his existence. The lucky buggers.

  12. Why is it that people hate Robbie Williams? He seemed amusing back in the day but I don't know much about him.

  13. Robbie was amazing in his prime. He is kind of the last of the real pop stars, before all the auto tune and disney tv show alums took over.

  14. Gather round, kids, while Uncle Cail tells you about the old days when the Russians were a serious threat to all of us at all times, not just a boogeyman used to spook people into silly political stances.

  15. @Brayson.

Watch this comedy show spoof from a decade or so ago.
    It tells the story hilariously.
And to be fair to the tax avoiding arsehole, Gary Barlow used to tell audiences at Take That gigs to watch it as it was more accurate than it intended to be.

  16. Robbie should have done that early hit he had with TT where they were sticking their arses in the air, dressed in soft gay bondage gear and rubbing Kelly (English jelly, not jam) into their crevices.

I see Peter Thatchall was arrested outside the stadium. Brave fella.

  17. Does anyone know what's the story with Himmmm? Is Don Henley ever going to be exposed?

  18. @Lonely, haha I feel like those are the demographics for every boy band.

"Well things have changed Gary, it's the Rob-ster that the 12-year-old girls and middle-aged gay men are screaming for now you know."

    1. @notthisagain

US, Canada, and Mexico will host the 2026 World Cup.

Soccer (football) is HUGE everywhere but here.

However, soccer became very popular after the US hosted the World Cup in 1990-something.

  22. @noththisagain: Money laundering, human/drug trafficking, etc., etc. Everyone makes a buck at those.

  23. Normal, yes indeed

Uh, since when are the French police kicking anyone in the head? You are definitely thinking about the cops in the US. French police couldn't be the entitled racist assholes that America has if they wanted to be. And this coming from a woman of color previously living in Paris and can't wait until I can move back.

  24. Notthisagain: Soccer may not be big with the older generations in the US, but it is pretty popular with the younger ones. Plus, as cultural mixing pot, just because your demographic isn't interested in it doesn't mean others are not.

  26. To be fair he did have some cracking albums in the late 90s and 2000s. He's got a good sense of humour and is meant to be a nice bloke, especially towards his fans. There's very few negative stories about him, so not sure why the hate on here for him either? The music industry is big enough and diverse enough to cater towards everyone's taste.

  30. Derulo's screwup is Williams's good fortune. Imagine missing an incredible promotional chance like that.
