Blind Item #15

This A list dual threat actress and her further down the list actor husband have always thought of marriage counseling as a positive. The thing is though, the actor has become much more negative about it and the couple you never thought would split, is thinking about doing just that.

  2. Oh dear. If its Kristen and Dax, I'll be so freaking sad.

It fits, though. I can't think of anyone better.

  3. Melissa McCarthy and her husband?? I think Kristen and Dax fit better

  4. Oh please, from day one people were like, "WTF is she doing with him?"

  5. Aww I think they're cute together

  6. Definitely Kristen and Dax, I remember her saying they’ve been going to couples therapy since they started dating and I was like ??? Isn’t that too much for a new relationship? She claims it saved their marriage so idk

  7. Well now that Justin Theroux is officially available who can resist? Git Justin git it! ;)

  8. David and Victoria?

Do you think Dax will go for Justin?

  10. Claire Danes/Hugh Dancy? She's pregnant, though, and I think the blind would have mentioned that. Plus, I'm not sure they have that 'you never thought they'd split' factor.

  11. @NE, nah too butch for Dax lol

  12. Damn. I don't know if I'm being naive but Kristen and Dax were always my fave couple.

  13. If anything was going to sink Kristen and Dax, I would think it would be a resurrection of his drug issues - not some vague mention of therapy.

  14. I thought of SJP as well.

  15. Maybe oversharing killed Kristen and Dax relationship.

  16. He may be lower on the list, but Kristen Bell is annoying as fuck!

  17. I like the Melissa McCarthy guess. This works best. Kristen and Dax are pretty equal list wise and I wouldn't really say she's dual threat.

    1. Okay, I'm not one of those people who has been obsessed with KB since Veronica Mars, but she has grown on me. Technically, she is at least a double threat since she started out as a popular musical theater person then became a tv star. If one defines triple threat as actor/singer/dancer, I'd say her dancing skills are only so-so but she rates on the first two. If you are like Enty and define it as tv-film-stage,then she is solidly a triple treat given the international success of Frozen. Dax is solidly a tv star, but he is more of a cult movie star. I am also fairly certain that she has a higher Q rating and multi-quadrant appeal.

Bell is extremely annoying and full of herself. Her ego far outweighs her talent.
And speaking of living with an ego trip, haven't seen Danny Moder photographed with Julia Roberts in ages.

  19. Hey Jon! Didn’t she sing in the Disney blockbuster “Frozen?!”

  20. Shepherd and Bell would really bummed me out.

  23. I know Melissa McCarthy's "dual" talent is eating and shitting, but what is Bell's? I think of dual threats as things such as acting and singing...none of the guesses are for people with dual talents.

    1. “Dual threat” is Enty speak for doing both movies and TV

    2. @Jack Rabbit, Kristen Bell originated in musical theater and was the 2nd lead in this little-known musical called Frozen. Melissa McCarthy actually also has a bit of musical theater background, but she isn't known for it.

  24. i can't help it, i love love love Dax's character, Crosby, in Parenthood.

  25. Totally Kristin Bell. I could sense trouble when her and Dax kind of seemed like they were bickering on The Chew.

  26. Not Kristin and Dax :(

  27. For those of you who are new here: Enty and the enterns use "double threat" or "triple threat" not in the way they are customarily used, to refer to talents ("triple threat"= sing, act, dance) but to media ("triple threat"=movies, TV stage). For instance, Benedict Cumberbatch is always a "double threat" because of his movie and TV work, not because of prowess as a song and dance man.

  28. Sounds like Kristen and Dax.. Kristen acts and sings. Melissa McCarthy only acts.
They’re not on the same level. Kristen has been the star of numerous tv shows: the Good Place, House of Lies, Veronica Mars while Dax has always been a supporting character: Parenthood and the Ranch.
I find them insufferable. They came out as vegans and knocking people who ate meat after watching a doc then later a blind came out about them yelling at people cuz fans were taking pics of their dinner, which was meat.

  29. Benedict Cumberbatch has done Shakespeare and plays by other playwrights too. Surely that makes him triple threat, Joe?

  30. Marriage counseling usually turns into the counselor and the wife teaming up to get the husband to agree everything is his fault, and bend him to the wife's will. Which, if successful, will destroy any respect she has for him, at which point she will divorce him anyway. Better for him to save his time and money, get his own shit together -- stop being a bad husband if he is -- and hope she does the same.

  31. Marriage counseling is sometimes a delay tactic for the inevitable divorce. Just get the divorce and start over with a clean slate! Keep moving forward.

  32. Or maybe, Cail, you were just a shit husband who couldn't accept that you were to blame?

    ReplyDelete
  33. If Bell and douche, I loathe them. He is just gross and she is so unfunny and annoying. Both are quite conceited considering they are ugly and untalented they are.

  34. @Cail

"if successful, will destroy any respect she has for him,"

Therapy isn't what kills a woman's respect for her husband. It's when men become another child - mommy watch! mommy help! mommy don't leave my sight! mommy answer my urgent messages immediately! mommy make me not indulge in dangerous things! mommy, HUNGRY! mommy, THIRSTY! mommy, HORNY!

That kills both the sexy and the respect. Works every time, like you guys want it to happen.

  36. Kristen Bell's done almost as many movies as tv shows. I was first aware of her in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", and she recently starred in "Bad Moms". Confused as to why people only associate her with "Frozen".

    1. Because Frozen was not just a hit movie, it was a global phenomenon. Nor was it simply a kids' movie. After watching it opening weekend, I spent a quarter of a therapy session discussing how Frozen made me feel with my shrink. The next week, he told me that 3 other patients brought the movie up all triggered by different issues.

  37. watched Dax on Sam Jones...seemed ok

  38. Just Sayin, I think because Frozen made over one hundred million dollars at the box office, won 2 Oscars and I'm pretty sure most all children have seen it. Also, Kristen Bell sings it anywhere Disney tells her to.

  39. Bell is currently a lead on a network sitcom and in two film franchises. If anyone counts as a dual threat, she does.
