Blind Item #1

Turns out a celebrity CEO had a different problem than he alleged a couple days ago.  The guy has gone public.

While this person was the first to make noise publicly, many higher ups have jumped ship in the last few months & are privately working with the Feds, with even more devastating information to share.

  3. I guess Enty ran out of Teen Moms and Real Housewives blinds and is now overdoing it with the Musk headlines instead.

If this were 1918 instead of 2018, I guess we'd have to hear nonstop (non-) blinds about Thomas Edison's business troubles.

  4. There seems to be a Musk blind daily.

  5. Maybe during the slow summer period Enty can give us blinds about 19th century celebrities.

"What chubby financier with a love for big gemstones has been eating big meals with a curvy comic opera star? At Rector's Restaurant he put away two whole ducks, six or seven lobsters, a sirloin steak, two servings of terrapin and a variety of vegetables - and that was just for him. She more than matched him when it came to oysters."

  7. Taxpayer money to be exact, Goddess. The self-immolation machines that TSLA loses a minimum of $8k on are the perfect gift for your fav SJW virtue-signaling neoliberal, so get em while their "hot"... Fucking crooked bastard, he would make PT Barnum blush, a publicly traded that ponzi Madoff is even shocked by.

  8. @nutty, i browse the blinds now to see if i am even interested in clicking to see the guesses. Don’t care about housewives, teen moms, etc.

  9. I guess we'll find out if the employee was a saboteur/rogue employee or a whistleblower. Tesla is suing him in federal court so they're either confident he's guilty or they've stacked the deck enough to squash him.

  10. Every Musk ‘blind’ recently has come straight from major press articles and Musk’s own tweets. If there’s an actual source here all they’re doing is reading the news and putting the most negative spin possible on it.

Tesla has filed suit against the supposed saboteur/whistleblower. Amongst other things their filing alledges he created a program to regularly automatically download sensitive information, and secretly put it on three other employees computers so he could leave the company and still be able to send things to third parties. So, if he hadn’t gotten caught, there’d be three innocent employees at risk of arrest/litigation because of him. That isn’t something a genuine whistleblower does.

  11. It's too early to hear people complain.
Tell the person to take the gun away from your head, shoo them out your door, then turn your Today show on.
If there is no gun involved then simply MAKE A CHOICE to not clicky-clicky on CDAN.
It's a gossip site. Let's all collectively take a deep breath and remember our free will...

  12. Nobody's guessed my 19th century blind, so I'm going to go with an 18th century blind instead.

"She’s enslaved so there’s definitely a power differential here. But they do have a genuine affection for each other – and what cute kids! This A++ document writer, folding-furniture inventor and university founder and this three-quarters white girl 30 years his junior have six little darlings together, although he'll never admit it publicly."

  16. LOL Nutty! Another 17th century blind.

"This A+++ scientist retreated to the countryside to propose a 'new' form of mathematics. He was so incorrigible that even the peasant farmers would not share their bounties with him. He lived a long life and became the professor emeritus for an A+++ college in England. This B- scientist gave him the shaft when he proposed the same mathematical theorems and went on to publish his results first therefor getting credit for the discovery. The apple fell far from the tree for our A+++ scientist."

  17. Thanks @roque and @Unknown! :=)

  18. LOL @Ann - one must be Issac Newton. But who is his B- rival?

    ReplyDelete
  19. OK, now I have my own 17th-century blind:

“This foreign-born religious refugee known for his voyage on an A++ ship had a huge crush on a younger woman, but made the mistake of asking a good-looking young guy to tell her about his feelings. Of course, she went for the younger guy.”

  20. 1918 blinds shafting Thomas Edison would be great if it made the real Tesla and his inventions better known and more accessible to the public instead of the MIC.

  24. I am so glad I clicked on this blind. I almost didn't. But the comments are worth it! 😃😃😃😃

  25. Everybody can get as emo and upset as they want about their star hero getting some shade but either the company is in trouble or he doesn't know how to play.

    ReplyDelete
  26. And let's not forget, it's been fairly noted that little of what the star hero has done was his original ideas. nothing wrong with jumping onto ideas and taking them somewhere but the thomas edison OMG visionary is sort of not entirely true

    ReplyDelete
  27. @Ann Ah, yes! I've learned a lot about Newton's rivals now. Edmond Halley, Robert Hooke, Leibniz, John Flamsteed....Newtown could have kept a 17th-century CDAN very busy.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The Dearborn MI public library has the original patent for Edison's light bulb. They used to produce it on demand until people wrote F^&k Edison on it and terms of endearment for Tesla.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Right, Nutty! Newton is remembered as an asshole in the science community. There is speculation that he may have been autistic or had Asperger's disease.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thanks for all the slave rape jokes!

    ReplyDelete
  31. @Ann, interesting about the Edison patent. I'm surprised they were willing to show it to random people. At any rate, I lost respect for Edison as soon as I heard the elephant story.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Celebrity rape blinds where the people/children/babies were kidnapped to be sex slaves are cool in your opinion, Geeljire? I'm not judging you at all; I'm just curious. In the spirit of discretion, I guess I won't post a blind about Mahummud (pbuh).

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm in the IT business, so I've heard a lot of blind adulation for Musk over the years. He's done some pretty cool stuff, which I respect. But as I've said before, he's also always had a scent of snake oil around him. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.

He's also got a fair dose of smartest-boy-in-the-room syndrome. Both come through when he talks about topics like AI, where he can assume as long as he talks fast and confidently, 99% of the audience won't be able to tell where he's speaking from knowledge, where he's guessing, and where he's snowing them.

  34. This A list CDAN commenter is upset with other commenters today. This A+ commenter and this D- commenter sincerely meant no harm with their comments. The nutty and anti-governmental comments sometimes go over the top here. Gee, can't we all just get along? P.S. Where the hell is this A+ commenter known for gutter comments? We're counting the days until his return.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Those 18th, 17th and 16th century blinds Bravo, good stuff. @Ann R Key your last blind made me lol. This blinds comments were well worth the click.

"Everybody can get as emo and upset as they want about their star hero getting some shade"

Who is doing that? You keep commenting on this Musk blinds about people who don't exist. Every...fucking...time.

    What's your game here?

    ReplyDelete
  37. LOL, @Ann

The question is, how far back can we go?

This A+++++ religious figure is usually only seen hanging out with guys but what his followers don’t know is there’s a woman he’s seeing on the side. Although he’s not paying her, she has lots of yachting in her past. Nothing like his mother.

  38. @Nutty I’m thinking this could be that dude who invented those ugly ass sandals. I thought he was closeted though 🤔

  39. Could be, Sal, could be.

I hear that one guy in his posse hanged himself under mysterious circumstances.

Thomas Edison blinds would have been interesting, the guy was kind of an asshole. The entire reason Hollywood even exists is early on directors and producers left the east coast, to escape Edison's lawyers, because he was suing people on every step of the movie making process, from making and selling film stock, to projecting it. He was trying to get a complete monopoly on it.
