Blind Item #2

The studio is under an obligation to release a movie starring this disgraced former A list mostly movie actor. They wanted to just keep it on a shelf, but can't. So far, there are no premieres scheduled or any press opportunities with anyone associated with the movie. The studio is just going to release it and hope it makes at least a buck or two.

Billionaire boys club. They couldn’t derive a more horrific title for s Spacey film. Speaking of Spacey. David Hogg looks like Spacey’s wet dream.

  5. I loved the old TV movie. I have wondered why it never got a big screen treatment. Too bad they chose this creep to star. #JuddNelson was great in original.

  6. Was wondering why it's being released.

  7. I'll admit to being a little harsh. Judd Nelson was good in that.

  9. I did not care for the original movie but was always fascinated by the case itself.

  12. It's Spacey and Billionaire Boy's Club. I don't think Franco is disgraced yet. We've stopped talking about him.

  13. Billionaire Boy's Club, what is this, a movie about DEN?

  14. if spacey version of all the money in the world had been released it would have been a bigger hit

he would have been GG SAG and oscar nominated in a polanski pianist kinda way

  15. I was chastized on another forum recently for suggesting that Spacey is a rapist, and told that that was just a sorta misunderstanding where he came on too strong, and besides he apologized, and I was probably some kind of pervert myself for accusing him.

I keep saying it: unless this stuff is blown WAY more open, they're all going to end up rehabilitated and walking into the Oscars to standing ovations a few years from now, while we're chided about that time we unfairly judged them.

As an aside, the way rules and obligations work in Hollywood are so weird. They blow off normal rules and limits in so many areas, but then they'll be absolutely dedicated to the letter of the law on other things.

  16. Unfortunately, Cali, you can't be surprised, since there are still individuals who insist the casting couch is a harmless quid pro quo instead of the rancid, obvious, tremendous abuse of power by people holding all the cards that it actually is.

  17. Sorry, *Cail. My eyesight ain't what it used to be.

  18. @Cail, you will definitely want to read the article on page six where a co-star is quoted as saying it’s time for Spacey to reappear on screen, people have short memories, and he looks unrecognizable in a beard and glasses. Unfortunately, this attitude appears to be the norm among many in that cesspool.

  19. Maybe they're going to kill him at BG?

    I don't think Spacey gets a comeback. We'll see.

  21. Whatever happened to the "morality clauses" that are a staple plot device in any TV show or movie about actors. The most recent one I saw was in Sense* when Lito was outed. Hell even his condo association was able to evict him. Are they just a scripted myth or a victim of collective bargaining by SAG?

  22. Judd Nelson is in the remake. He plays Ryan Hunt (Joe Hunt's father).

I loved the original movie and had a major crush on Judd Nelson back in the days of the Brat Pack. I will definitely see the remake.

  25. I have walked away with cashiers with an extra 50!cents/dollar and have always walked back with it upon realization, because that’s the right thing (only thing ) to do despite the Amount of money.
Character is what you do when you think nobody is watching.

    1. As for Spacey- need to repeat that I dated someone who dated him -Enty back in the day timeframe:)
Also watched him during dry rehearsals/ and ultimately matinees when he performed at the theatre my family ran :my HS job was answering phones for the Nederlanders (my boss).

Everyone knows who Kevin is and was. Knew Anthony Rapp later I life (during RENT), and he is an awesome person.
      That’s all
