Blind Item #5

He used to be one of the edgiest comedians around and was headed for permanent A+ list status. Now, he is still an A list comic but has lost his edge and is more interested in corporate paychecks and groping as many women during meet and greets as possible until someone says yes. Back in the day he cheated on his wife with fans and A list celebrities. Now, half the time he has to pay the fan to be with him when he cheats on his current significant other.

This describes literally dozens of working comics on the circuit right now.

Another fake blind, that will never have 'reveal'

    1. He was surprisingly poignant/decent as an actor in Blue Jasmine....strange as that sounds lol

    2. What’s crazy is I just watched the movie last night! Netflix added it yesterday and t was EVERYTHING! He’s a great actor, if this blind is about him I’m going to be sad

  3. Doesn't Dice still have his Showtime sitcom?

  4. Tricia nailed it! His sitcom cancelled.

  5. I see they recently cancelled it. But then wouldn't it be someone who was taking corporate gigs for a lot longer?

  6. I'm sure Tricia13 is right (one would be silly to vote against her), but.....Dice doing corporate gigs? In this day and age, I can't imagine a corporation wanting to be within 100 miles of him.

  9. This could fit Chris Rock also.

  10. TBH most comics lose their edge at 40. Its prob easier to list the exceptions like Carlin or Joan Rivers

  11. andrew dice clay is in that upcoming film w/bcoop & gaga, a star is born. sooooo weird. I saw his name listed and was like, dafuq?

  12. Corporations don't hire Dice. "The owners wife.....I f$cked her ohhhhhh" not likely

  13. Chris Rock? The new Kanye song references his affairs

  14. Chris Rock. His last special had no edge. It was kind of depressing. And he was a cheater with both fans and Kerry Washington.

  15. Ck, Hughley, Hart, Rock or Hart are not edgy. If you need to understand edgy in terms of comedy, look no further than Bill Hicks, Pryor, or Carlin.
Hicks would be the edgiest being his complete disregard and lack of concern for the audience.

  16. This doesn't sound like Dice.

If you are a true fan of stand-up comedy Dice will forever be A+ list. He sold out MSG multiple times when no other comedian could.

  17. I don’t think it has to be a corporate comedy gig, could’t it also be corporate sponsorship of a comedian’s shows/projects or a comedy event w/corporate sponsors? Paychecks, meet and greets tied to all of those.

  18. Bill Hicks, Pryor, and Carlin are all dead, so this isn't about any of them.

  19. Is T.J. Miller considered "edgy"? ... By all accounts he's a total creep who could fit this description.

He centered his non-apology-apology-statement around his wife, which was telling.

  20. I was fortunate to see bill hicks live in his prime, like f***ing elvis on stage. No other comic comperes.
