Blind Item #7

This soon to be A list mostly movie actor/superhero recently walked off a film because he was told there would be hundreds of female extras for the married actor to interact with. Once he saw the script and realized there would be very few, he walked.

  4. My gut tells me Momoa and Lisa Bonet are in an open relationship. Either that or Bonet is really, really naive.

    1. I don’t think their marriage is open. They’ve only been married for about 6 months. She just less worried about his cheating now that she got that Aquaman money locked down. There was an Instagram post last week where he kissed a woman on the lips and said he loved her.

    2. That being said, I think that if this is The Crow movie the blind is about, then I think the reason listed here is bogus. JM doesn’t have the track I record to turn down work for such a petty reason. Think he and the director were just frustrated.

  5. I think they're in an open relationship as well, but it's probably something he suggested and she's just going along with it.

  6. Bonet doesn't strike me as naive.

  7. Hmmmm, Ron Jeremy in a The Crow remake would be a totally different movie

  8. Yeah, I don't feel like Mamoa needs to be filming to find other partners. There were also supposed to be financial disagreements between the director and studio about The Crow, which really can kill a movie. I'd look at someone like Benny C for this blind.

  9. @Nemo and they were about to lose their distributor too

  10. @Nemo If that's so, then why do people keep implying that BC is gay?

  11. @Nonya,
On second reading this blind wouldn't be Benny C, as it says "soon to be A list" and he'd already be A list. However, I'd look for someone like him who doesn't seem to have an open relationship like Mamoa seems to.
What Marvel and DC movies are currently filming or in post-production besides Aquaman?

    1. Shazam with Zachary Levi (divorced). Antman and Wasp with Paul Rudd is a sequel so no change for him really. Captain Marvel/Wonder Woman 2 both have female leads.

    2. Yeah, Zachary doesn't strike me as the type to walk off a set because there are few women.

  12. Let's hope the deal is off for the Crow movie.

  13. @Nemo You're right. Also, BC is usually listed as a foreign born A list dual threat. The only one I can think of is Ant-Man and the Wasp, but Paul Rudd is considered A list already. I don't know of anyone else besides Jason who is a soon to be superhero.

  14. What kind of a douche walks away from a potential hit for this?

  15. Momoa has been a known dog for years. Why he feels the need to get pissy about not enough female extras is beyond me; that man could walk down the street and get all the women he wants.

    1. Right but extras on a set have reason to keep their mouths shut while women on the street might blab publicly about fking him.

  16. If this is supposed to be The Crow/Mamoa, the director has bailed, too. They’ve been trying to do this movie for a decade... it’s not gonna happen. Everyone needs to leave it alone. Some movies should not be remade.

Also, of the many, many reasons for JM to walk away from this, access to women is NOT it... perhaps he was overheard jokingly saying it after downing one too many Guinness.

  17. Jason has already played aquaman, so he's not a soon-to-be superhero, he already is one. Same with Benedict & Dr strange.

  18. Oh good someone is straight!

  19. Well, if The Crow is really not happening, I'm sure Himmmm is happy to hear it.

  20. As a lover of The Crow since childhood...weren't all of the sequels enough??! Brandon Lee did a perfect job, there's no need for a redo!

    1. Literally the only good one. Brandon was going to be a huge star and it's a damn tragedy

  21. Good, the Crow shouldn't be a muscle bound action dummy.

  22. Bonet may be out of there soon though. I think they probably have something somewhat open (I know I do too) but the thing is you don't sh*t where you eat. Once stories come out and you look the fool you will done with that. Discretion is often key in these. If you make a spouse look the fool to others, never mind the public eye, that can be a deal breaker.

    1. The problem I had with the Instagram post JM put on last week was that someone tagged his wife in on it. That was foul.

  23. if this is supposed to be about momoa, i call 100% bullshit.

  24. haahahahah, Jason Momoa walking from a movie because of a lack of female extras? He can come to my house then..... I'm all the woman he needs.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I have a feeling Jason Mamoa doesnt need a movie set to drop hundreds of panties.

  27. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Thanks big g, you da man!

Oh thank goodness, was not looking forward to a Khal Draven murderfest. How about we have a female Crow for a change? Haven't we had enough Crow sequels with random guys trying to imitate Brandon Lee? Why not try something different? Look at Death in The Sandman series if you need a goth/emo female comic reference.

  29. Paul Rudd dropped out of the Sonic the Hedgehog film recently. I think he's more assured of his A list status with Antman and Wasp + Infinity War 2 etc than Mamoa on Aquaman which should do well but he might not get the credit.

    1. What do you mean by “might not get the credit”, do you mean like stealing his ideas and plagiarism? πŸŒ‹πŸŒΊπŸ‘©πŸ»πŸ₯—πŸ‚

    2. No, I mean if the film's a success people will say the director's great and Mamoa didn't mess it up. He won't automatically become A list and get more high quality roles. Is Gal Godot A list?

  30. I'm glad they dropped, maybe they read those blinds with the background story about the movie.
    RIP Brandon Lee
