As for Ariana and Pete I think they've been dating longer than we know, her and Mac broke up quite a while before they announced it according to other sites. Am I seriously the only one who hears about this engagement and has a "PR STUNT, PR STUNT, PR STUNT" alarm screaming in their head?? The relationship could be real, but doesn't it seem a bit convenient to have this brand new relationship, with a brand new engagement, just weeks before your new album drops? To me it seems very possible they got together, saw how much buzz was around when it was revealed they were together, and then they decided to make a fake engagement, complete with fake engagement insider leaks, and fake engagement articles. Of course she purchased the ring, cause she's gotta be the one footing this PR stunt's bill.

ReplyDeleteLook, I do not know either of these kids but on the surface it appears like some version of a "chemical romance". At some point one or the other will sober up for an hour or two and have a WTF moment. If it's Davidson, he'll probably smile at his good fortune and load up again. If it's Ariana it will most likely be call the limo and hit the highway.
ReplyDeletePete seems like a nice but unstable guy. He's been open about his mental illness issues and substance issues. He falls too far too fast with too many quick tattoos, and doesn't seem to have the support (or money) to handle the women he hooks up with. When this fails (and it will), Ariana and her fully-staffed production will move on, but Pete will be left with his no money and nearly no job (he's barely on SNL anymore) and I'm concerned how it will affect him. I hope he's got people who will look out for him.
