That's a rare thing in this autotune, CGI world. Gaga can even play instruments with some expertise which is almost forbidden in the land of Selena, Katy, Nicki, Sia and Lana and Tay Tay.
@plot I agree, she is and has always been very unique and talented. Looking forward to seeing her new movie. But.....just so you know, “Tay tay” is a skilled musician and plays the piano, guitar, and banjo. No need to slander other artists to make a point based on name recognition alone. Especially when you don’t actually know what you’re saying is true. :)))
Several years ago I was working at SXSW on a project for a major brand and their temporary stage. Gaga was supposed to be the headliner but due to the expected crowd and city capacity rules, the show had to be moved last minute to a permanent structure. So we got to see Ludacris instead. We heard that Gaga's performance involved her and her performers drinking green goo and regurgitating it on the stage and audience. A lot of the things she did then reminded me of highschoolers I knew acting out for pure shock value and attention. Guess she's got a new schtick now. Still not a fan.
Anyone who doubts Gaga's talent needs to watch that video on Youtube of her playing piano for Howard Stern. There's a genuinely talented musician under the carefully managed facade.
Sadly, though, she sold her soul to the spirit cooking crowd. Not surprised she's self-medicating given what they probably put her through to become famous.
Fibro sucks. I comprehend the zombie part. But with the right meds, life improves. I'm not a Gaga fan, but I feel for her having fibro. Wouldn't wish it on an enemy.

@TownChica ......try Homeopathic Rhus Tox 30. It won't cure fibromyalgia but I have a friend who uses it and it gives her a lot of relief. Relatively inexpensive, no side effects and no prescription needed.
Tay Tay is a strummer. I've watched her on guitar and piano and no way in hell she could play a cabaret, night after night, the way Gaga did before she hit the big time. It might be something she could work on but so far she is too invested in the best cover money can buy for her lack of certain skills.
Saw a photo of her (GaGa) yesterday dressed in black leather. And yes, it was 88 degrees! With Bradley Cooper's film coming out, he has so much riding on its success, I can't see anyone connected with the film letting GaGa self-destruct at this time. I say his film because he is the director, I believe. A Star Is Boring, I mean Born, is a much-anticipated event. Not by me, but a few others who weren't around to see Judy Garland's version.
