The long time on again/off again actor ex of this A-/B+ list actress/celebrity offspring went through rehab and wanted to discuss things with the actress while he was in rehab. The counselors all thought it would help him in his recovery. Our actress used several expletives when declining.

I been to rehab..nothing to be ashamed of..actually it's to be supported and applauded for reaching out to change ..if it's a shameful secret then they have many more issues to cover..therapy helps with the other issues in rehab not just drugs

ReplyDeleteWhat kind of ramshackle rehab centre is this where confidentiality isn't even an afterthought? How is this ethical? You're treating that person and their addiction, not doing couples therapy. That it didn't even occur to them that this might be a trigger makes me wonder what kind of place this is. Evan, in a few days, deserves much better.

ReplyDeleteLeft early this morning and just got back home. Not a great day.
With regard to this particular blind, I have only known one person who went to one. I had no idea there was anything that wrong with her. Yes, she had some emotional problems, but don't we all? Anyway, her new boyfriend, with a little too much spare cash, sent her to one. She was there a couple of weeks and called me to tell me how she is improving. From what I don't know. She tells me you are not allowed to discuss anyone who is there with anyone. Can't do it. And, she ends her conversation with, "Oh, by the way, Mel Gibson is here," and hung up. Never talked with her again.
I entered rehab after partying like a rockstar in my youth. Saved my life, and the greatest thing I ever did. I have a great life and a beautiful family because of it, but man, do I have stories from those days that I love! Nothing like yours, Boo, but shocking to those who know me now. Anyway, when you are in rehab, you can give permission for the staff to talk to certain people you choose and you can share details with them yourself. I think this was the leak.
ReplyDeleteEmma thinks she is all that. She is not pretty, not talented, just ordinary. She got her 'start' by being the neice of someone that was famous.....not much about Julia these days. Has beens. Emma needs to come down off of her high horse and face reality........

Therapy is a science, so counselors never make things worse.
