Just because a closeted A- list mostly movie actor with multiple movie franchises is holding hands with a woman, does not confirm a romance. It confirms that someone called to make sure it looked like a romance and that ONE pap got an excellent photo. Remarkable how that ONE pap knew when and where to be and that little handshake after with the actor sliding him a cash tip.

ReplyDeleteThe 'candid' shot of celebrities has been the norm for almost 100 years. I vividly remember the shot of Goop and her new hubby, Chris, with huge smiles on their faces after exiting a GYN's office. The shot seen 'round the world. Turns out the female photographer was one of Gwennie's best friends. Hmm. Coincidence? I don't think so. Also the constant half-naked PDA shots of Heidi Klum and her current boyfriend(s) are always vomit-inducing. She seems pretty pathetic by now. Her poor kids having to see this on the Internet year after year.

You'd think there would be a required acting course for those desiring to beard up in how to look realistic together. I can provide a list of names who desperately need such training. Then again maybe subconsciously that's their way of rebelling against the system by trying to out themselves for who they really want to be.

This is hilarious! I am surprised Chris Pine is in the closet his close friend Zachary Quinto is gay and out and proud. Qunito career is doing well he is in a broadway play The Boys In The Band. Why doesn't Chris Pine just come out? I doubt fans will care.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm striking a contrary tone here, but from what I gather on other gossip sites, Pine is actually bisexual. He apparently hooked up with both guys and girls in college, and I have heard stories about girls whose friends hooked up with him after meeting at bars in the last few years.
ReplyDeleteI don't doubt that this current relationship is a fake one, partly because he has that movie coming out in a few months (much like Nick Jonas will be dropping an album this year -- hence the formation of Prick). That said, it would be nice if Enty clarified if someone was bisexual when he said "closeted" if he knew the score. Bisexuals actually do exist in Hollywood (see Leo), and when you say "closeted" people automatically assume "gay."
TruthSayer, yes, exactly this. Need more Bisexual recognition in the world. It would help if more ppl would come out as such, in Hollywood especially. Need more representation in media, tv/movies. Familiarity breeds discussion which always helps identify and de-stigmatize. And one can still prefer one sex over the other and still be Bi. For some, it is a sliding scale. We are all different in many ways, always have been and will continue to be.

ReplyDeleteFortunately, I think we are starting to see some positive steps in the right direction when it comes to exposure. This year alone Janelle Monae, Brendon Urie, and Tessa Thompson have come out as pansexual/bisexual.
