Despite the horror of the box office numbers that was this reboot of an old franchise, there is talk that Netflix wants to do another movie followed by a television show. Their first choice is to stay away from the foreign born A- list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee. The problem they face is she gets paid for a sequel regardless if she is in it or not. As long as she does not drop out, she gets paid.

ReplyDeleteI like the Vikander guess. She was awful in the role and did a lot of drugs during filming. I mean she is a pretty bland and boring person in general.

ReplyDeleteAlicia's pretty and I like her style. But I have seen an interview or two of her and she is one of the most boring people I've ever come across. Almost fell asleep watching her. No wonder she was a Harvey girl, she had to be to make it in the industry. She wouldn't have made it otherwise. Can't act to save her life either.

ReplyDeleteJon Peters failed to make a Superman movie with Nic Cage in the 90s, but because of that deal he was still getting paid tens of millions for the Singer and Snyder movies.

ReplyDeleteSimple solution, get a new actress lined up , tell Viki she is still in it but has to sign a drugs free clause or the film can't get insurence, one week in there is a mandatory drug test and she is fired for breach of contract, She can whistle dixie for payment , either drop it or go to court and have all your 'problems' exposed publically and probably ending your studio career as well.
