Blind Item #6

An owner of a decor store is probably wishing he never opened the door to this A list writer who used to be an A+ list mostly television actress. She has worked on multiple hit network shows and also done hit movies/horrible movies and theatre. Apparently she is not the nicest person to work with on home decor and the owner of the store says that if she had been his first customer, she would have been his last and he would have given up in the business. She would yell at him and his employees and reminded everyone all of the time that she is a star and they were working for her. Just awful.

  1. Reads like Tina Fey. Is it Tina Fey?

  2. Back in the day they'd call someone like that a bitch.

  3. What about (as much as I hate it) Amy Poehler doing that crafts show?

  4. I’m going with Whitney Cummings

  5. I don't think Whitney Cummings would have ever been A+ list in TV, or have done theater

  6. Probably Tina Fey. She has Mean Girls the musical on Broadway.
I don't know if any of the other guesses have theatre.

    1. Mindy co-wrote/performed in a play called Matt and Ben (about Damon/Affleck) with her college bestie. It won awards at the fringe festival in 2002(?) — she’s done tgeatre(notvsure it’s her at all,but she has).

  7. I will hate this if its Tina Fey. Tell me she's not a bitch. :(

  8. This is totally Sharon Stone. She spent years restoring her home and drove everyone involved totally insane. Perfectionist. Control freak. That said, she does have exquisite taste and knows design, architecture and fabrics. If you are spending major bucks, you should have a say in what goes into your home. I will always take La Sharon's side!

  9. I know the blind says 'writer' but I still think it's Sharon. Actually, this could be about any number of famous people, couldn't it?

  10. Hate,to say it, but Tina Fey is the only one who was A+ as an actress.

  11. Can't be Sharon Stone because she's not mostly TV.

Could be Mindy Kaling or Tina Fey, although one could also quibble with either. e.g. Tina is still an actress, not just a writer, and Mindy probably doesn't qualify as A+ as an actress even though she wrote her own show.

I think (hope! because I like both of them) maybe we haven't figured it out yet.

  12. What are Mindy's hit movies?

  13. stone doesn't fit the clues at all. she's not a 'writer' and she definitely was never A+ mostly TV. can't just ignore all that.
hope it's not mindy because her rep is for being nice.

  14. I have thought for years that Tina is a bitch/asshole.

  15. Mindy is still actually on television and in films (Champions, Wrinkle in Time). Sadly, I think it’s Tina ☹️

  16. Kathy Bates if she ever wrote?

  17. I doubt time trying to be helpful toward any of the people named is time pleasantly spent.

  19. Sounds like Tina Fey even tho I think Mindy is a talentless a-hole

  20. No clue who Whitney is and I don't think Mindy was A list. Guessing it's Tina.

  21. If it is Tina Fey, it might explain why she married a man smaller than her.

  23. Tina Fey has hit shows (30 Rock, SNL, Kimmy Schmidt), hit movies (Baby Mama, Sisters), bad movies (Admission, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot), theatre (Mean Girls), and is primarily a writer at the moment

  24. Sarah Jessica Parker is an "A list writer"? Only Tina Fey fits.

  25. tina fey would always make judgmental holier than thou comments about women,, it doesnt surprise me she wrote mean girls or is one herself

Amy Poehler also fits, and she is also so sanctomonious and judging of women who dont rise to her idea of perfection and saintliness

  26. TINA,IS THETE MORE TO THAT KNIFE FIGHT THAN YOU'RE TELLING?

  27. Unfortunately, retail/ design or even owning a store is hard work and you do get customers famous or not famous that are simply awful. You have to have tough skin to work with the public or find another career.
    I hope it's not Tina!

first thru glass ceilings always bitches, thy name is tina

  34. She "is" the star and they "do" work for her.
I get yelled at work sometimes, too. But it's my choice to take it.
Likewise, they can choose to not do business with her, instead of telling people about it. That's more proffesional and satisfying.

  35. Friend of mine worked on "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" and said Tina Fey's narcissism was so strong it was delusional. She really thought she was going to get an Oscar for that movie.

  36. Mindy Kaling has a talk radio style film coming out soon

  37. He could have saved himself and his staff early on by politely suggesting another decor company that is better suited to realize her vision.

It's totes Tina, and it's always been clear to me how full of herself she is. Let me know when she actually saves a life or two--otherwise, STFU!

  39. This is NOT Tina Fey. I know her interior decorator. So unless this is complete BS - not her. Just saying!
