ReplyDeleteSelling a book or being on a TV show is doing well in dinosaur media. Dinosaur media has a well paved way and is now cheap and easy to use, but it offers nowhere near the rewards of doing well on social media and on-line tribal media.
She should focus on how well she is in fact doing on social media, over 9 million instagram followers alone, and not worry about how well she is doing in dinosaur media.

Trans "women" are men and they can threaten us with as much violence as they want my opinion of them will never change. They don't even make up 1% of the human population, yet they get to redefine womanhood on their terms while telling actual women we're not allowed a say in the matter. It's a fucking piss take.

Bruce Jenner is clearly an autogynephile--a man who gets turned on by the idea of being a woman. Typically, autogynephiles transition in their mid-life, at a time when they can no longer get their sexual kicks the traditional way. Bruce is NOT a woman and will never be one. He's a white male conditioned in a male-dominated society, and it shows.
ReplyDeleteI don't care what people do in their private lives. But womanface is insulting to all women. We don't find it acceptable for people to dress as Native Americans. We call that cultural appropriate. Blackface is not acceptable. Why should we accept men donning a dress and some lipstick and calling themselves 'woman'??
@Water Lily: what I think is, transsexuals have existed for thousands of years, so I guess they can be accepted as a "side effect" of a complex society, within reason (if their numbers went up, some social intervention, to identify the reasons and restore balance, would be a healthy response in a biologically healthy society interested in its own welfare). What really makes absolutely no sense to me is the surgery- other than horrific and delusional and a scam, it postulates that our power to "fix" nature can revert radical realities such as the sex we are or the way we look. It promises to save us from coming to term with reality, when in fact it serves us a much harsher, broken reality, one which is impossible to come to terms with. Sad!
