This could possibly be a first. Apparently this barely legal A- list mostly television actress who is the lead on a new show is in danger of getting fired. She is taking method acting to a whole new level and has been ritually sacrificing small animals and spending time with a group of people who like to simulate sacrificing women up to an including giving them sedatives to make it appear as if they are dead. The men in the group then have sex with the female. Our actress is talking about being one of the women "sacrificed."

ReplyDelete"Four for Friday" is a phrase that calls back to the early days of the site.
ReplyDeleteWhen the site started, there was just one blind item a day. The rest of the content of the blog consisted of some picture galleries (until the rights owners asked for compensation, which an entertainment lawyer didn't forecast), or some conversation starters. It was also active only from Monday to Friday.
Friday was an exception. It featured both "Full Frontal Friday" (which lasted only a few months), a gallery of nude male celebrities, mostly caps from movies, and "Four for Friday", a collection of four blind items, or a long blind item involving four different names, or a collection of blind items that were somewhat related, even if you couldn't always separate it into four different sections.
Around 2012-2013, the site suddenly started to produce around five blind items a day, then something like a dozen, every day of the week. Fridays are nothing special now, but the phrase "Four for Friday" stuck to celebrate the main blind item for this day.
Those were also the days where blind items started to look like fabrications, or NC-17 Mad Libs based on some piece published the same day by the Daily Mirror, but that's another issue.

ReplyDeleteAnd there is nothing special about the Riverdale series. It is a generic teen drama show, and basically a darker mashup of Dawson's/90210, using the Archie characters' names. The radical changes to some of the characters is ridiculous as well.
