Blind Item #14

This former A+ list talk show host got that college student pregnant so, he needs to go ahead and do the quickie divorce settlement thing. The crazy thing is his PR people are trying to spin it to make him seem like the good guy in speeding things up. Crazy.

I wonder if Matt will move out to LA so he can finally be with the true love of his life, Natalie.

Here's a nice pic of them together in Greece.

  5. $20 million is a drop in the bucket for Lauer. Hope the wife gets half.

  6. If Mick Jagger can procreate at his age
    Who cares about Matt?

  7. Matt is paying his wife more than that, he’s also selling his homes so that he can pay his long suffering wife off.
I’m surprise none of the women is suing NBC, they knew this bone head was sleeping with anyone he could
I never saw the fascination in him, he’s arrogant, narcissistic and bland

  8. And too skinny and never clean shaven.

  9. Natalie deserves some of the fault of his failed marriage, as well as others who had an affair with him knowing he was married. I really don't agree when people say the man/woman that is married is the one totally at fault, because they are the ones who took vowes. So basically they are saying it is ok to pursue someone who is married, and if that person cheats, it is all that person's fault.

By the way, I have never liked Matt Lauer and think he is getting what he deserves.

  10. TBH, I liked him when he was young, seemed honest, worked with Katie and Bryant. I rooted for him. Then he got all full of himself. The DAY BEFORE he got booted he was reporting on another person like him (caught with his hand in the candy jar, finally) and I remember thinking "There but for the Grace of God are you. You are as guilty as ____ " ?Weinstein? Spacey? ICR. In that last broadcast, he was so so very 'above them all'. And THE NEXT DAY the boom fell, Savannah cried, Hoda celebrated (in her head, not out there), and I now switch the channel as soon as they come on. If I forget to switch, once Megan comes on, that voice of hers makes me change the channel. NBC has turned her into an panderer - yuck. (I work, but I like news/ info noise in the background. If I listen to music I'll start singing and dancing, and that would not help me get work done :) ) Anyway, he had the best gig ever, an amazingly beautiful wife, children and life, and he let little Mr. Stickie ruin it. Matt, I thought you would be better than that.

  11. Diana, agree with you. Liked him early on, and then like Oprah, saw a switch turned on where he became over confident and superior. Power corrupts.

    3. WELL.
If power corrupts, imagine power sprinkled with thirst.

Anyway, I don’t think news anchor/pundit are good professions for narcissists. They were probably attracted to the jobs in the first place because they thought it would mean they’d be in the spotlight all the time.

The dum-dums then realised on the job, I suppose, that the NEWS is the centre of attention. Not you, sweetie.

Which just exacerbates things psychologically (my amateur guess, obviously not professionally-qualified to psychoanalyse anyone).

It happens a lot to people who work in news (I’ve seen at least two examples of this in person—a female anchor and a loud-mouthed male entertainment journalist who asked me stupid questions about my weight, both pursued acting on the side and absolutely NOTHING will ever convince me they did it out of love for the craft).

      🤷🏻‍♀️

  12. Some men should never get married. ML Would still be a douchebag though. What college student would bang Matt? Too small, bald and miserable.

  13. $20MM to the ex-wife seems pretty cheap for a guy who was supposedly making $25MM per year! Should have $100MM + net worth, so ex-wife should have held out for $50MM+.

  14. Why dont these wandering dicks get sterilised.

    1. Oh just realised you were talking about “sterilised” as in the context of REPRODUCTION.

For some reason I thought like dipping their dicks into disinfectant so they don’t infect their wives at home with some icky STD infection.

Damn brainfog just got real. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  15. OFF THE SUBJECT: This is a hit-and-run as I board a plane to Ireland. I just saw a story about Lena Dunham on Breitbart Hollywood. Every single (over 1,000) comment is so vile and full of hate toward her, it defies explanation. Except, she deserves every one of them. No American celebrity in the history of show biz has anyone been so despised. You will be stunned by the comments. Hope everyone is well and happy. Noticed Tricia changed her picture.
