This closeted A list mostly movie actor from an acting family finally landed a franchise after decades trying. He is celebrating with this foreign born male diver who is out and proud, so this should be interesting.
For clarification Nathan Fillion said he was going to be Nathan Drake in the upcoming "Uncharted" franchise startup, and then quietly removed the tweet.
None of these fit. Jake was announced as the villain in the next Spider-Man months ago. And landing the part of a villain isn't landing a franchise. How often does a villain have a major appearance and the next installment? Not often.

Yes. For those who don't know, he said Jake and his male partner believed to be Austin Nichols had a baby with together with a surrogate - believed to be his sister Maggie. So the baby is her and Austin's DNA.
@ Truffle, I don't watch movies much anymore as I am pretty much done with Hollywood. I haven't been in a theatre in years, but usually it is one and done with villains. Gen Hackman in Superman, Willem Dafoe in Spiderman, Jack Nicholson in Bat Man etc. even cumbercuck in Star Trek.
Can enty clarify if he is being LITERAL with the word DIVER. The only famous male diver who is openly gay is Tom Daley who is married to a chicken hawk Dustin Lance Black. This marriage will not last because of the 20 year age difference. I am not surprised at all that Tom is trying to get laid with other guys. But I doubt Jake Gyllenhaal is going to ever come out of the closet.

Yes, playing a villain in one movie doesn't count as landing your own franchise.
