Blind Item #17 - Teen Choice Awards

This barely legal A- list former Disney actress went to the awards thinking she would get to accept an award with her former co-stars. Apparently producers forcibly kept her from going on stage though after her co-stars said they would walk off the stage if she went with them. Our actress handled it like a pro and will probably be garnering some real awards for her new hit almost television show.

  8. +1 good on her for being so mature about it - especially that young

  9. This behavior is so common on larger ensemble casts that have stars the same age. Same thing used to happen with Glee-- they all hated Lea and would never clap for her when she presented at awards shows or accepted awards. It's super catty and unprofessional. Even if you're not fond of the person, they work on your show, which is getting recognition. Put the BS aside and be supportive.

  12. Ronni plays a Hispanic teen on On My Block (and has made a career playing Hispanic characters) but it was discovered she’s actually a white Trump supporter who has had some interesting things to say about immigration. So there was predictably a backlash.

  13. Is it illegal to support Trump?

    2. Oh I forgot to mention that On My Block is about, in part, the difficulty of growing up in neighborhoods plagued by gun violence, an they also found her choice statements directed at the Parland kids. That’s didnt go over well either.

Not illegal, but definitely unpopular. They didn’t fire her though so she’ll live. .

  15. Ooohhh, white and conservative... How horrible!
    The tolerant left.

She will live, and we all understand them being intolerant, bullying assholes, at this point. But stop with the pandering for votes by lying and acting like the left is the side of love and tolerance.

    1. Dude, the only people that talk about how the left is supposed to be tolerant is the right wing. We don’t claim to be tolerant. You are confusing the left with neolibs.

  16. Where do you guys get this idea from that Literally Every Hispanic American Agrees on "Immigrate however the fuck you want"?

    Soros and the DNC?

  17. So is she not hispanic? Cameron Diaz is white and hispanic as is Martin Sheen and his sons. As it's obvious to be both, there are also hispanic people who have varying opinions on immigration to boot.
