This foreign born B+ list mostly movie actor who has won/been nominated for some of the big awards in his home country was a serial cheater on his long term wife who all of you know. ReplyDeleteI like Vincent Cassel a lot. Highly recommend "The Crimson Rivers," a "Se7en"-like mystery with Jean Reno too. Reno's a Parisian detective called to help small-town cop Cassel (who doesn't want his help) solve a gruesome murder at a CERN-like scientific compound on the town's fringe.
ReplyDeleteIt was a big worldwide hit, tho didn't do much in the USA because it's in French. Successful enough to get a sequel that doesn't have Cassel (which makes sense; why would Reno go back to the same small town that rarely has a murder?) and isn't as good (are they ever?).
