John Kennedy put him solo in the cover of George magazine; the cast/producers pressured Rob to decline because it had to be a cast cover. Kennedy insisted it be Lowe. And when he died the magazine staff respected his wishes. But basically everyone on that show is a gigantic ass.

But President Bartlett became so popular, they decided to focus more on him than on Lowe, which is why Lowe left the show early.

After his dishonorable discharge, he's worked as a security guard at Walmart in some backward-assed town. Don't forget that he admits to 25 years service in the military AND law enforcement. Not exactly retirement age unless you live in a trailer and are on disability.
The only reason he didn't vote for Trump is because he never bothered to register. I think there's still time left for the November elections but I don't think he knows about midterms. These are good things.

ReplyDeleteYes, the armed services paid the owners a lot of money to be a constant presence at NFL games. One of the conditions is that the players had to stand, hand over hearts, and sing the national anthem.
Before 2009 (I think that's the date) players came running out of the locker room AFTER the anthem.
So you see it's a very complex issue, not simply one of patriotism but mainly about police brutality (at the beginning) and now it's become an issue of what owners can demand of players - do they own the players too, like well paid slaves?

ReplyDeletePlot Tricia was given an extremely hard time on this board by that POS. I really don't know why she thinks you are one of it's alts, but she does. Because of what happened to her here, she really needs to be cut some slack. It's a mentally ill poster, an extremely mentally ill poster.
ReplyDeleteSandy, thanks for backing up the information Tricia obliquely shared with me on another board. I've said before that during the Derek years, I came here for the entertainment, not to post, and was unaware how serious the situation became. I'd really really like to lay off Tricia completely, even before this information was shared with me. I truly wish she would do that same.
