This recently engaged foreign born A-/B+ list mostly television actress was not even in the discussions/conversations/thought process of landing a role in a movie starring this A+ list mostly movie actor, let alone starring opposite him. Enter one engagement and a string of tabloid articles and the next thing you know, she lands the job. It is why she forced that engagement and not just a string of meaningless dates to be photographed by paps. She would go full on marriage if she thought it would get her a superhero franchise. I'm not sure what is in it for her significant other that will change his narrative.

In glad that stupid Chris Pratt viking movie was delayed. I wish she would just go away. Her show as cancelled because it was stupid. Baywatch was a flop, but was pretty good because of Rock and Zac.

ReplyDeleteAs long as it's with a fellow celebrity, it keeps you in the press and thus buzz leading up to the film's opening. It's about publicity and PR to keep your "personal brand" vibrant and thus, presumably, someone the masses recognize as larger than life and thus worthy of paying to see on the big screen (or home screen).
It likely isn’t going to land her anything of substance. She’ll never be an Oscar winner. And I question whether she’ll actually get a superhero role that actually increases her starpower.

It's very puzzling to see them together in photos in tabloids because the two of them just don't fit together in the looks department. He's not overly powerful or wealthy enough to snag someone that beautiful.
The pairing makes no sense, whatsoever.

ReplyDeleteMy TV channel is set to Turner Classic Movies. It's Americana, history lessons, literature and entertainment. Some movie about a classic may pique my interest enough to make me finally read the damn book !
