Stallone was blamed for starting the rumor,but more likely be spread it, not started it. The Dali Lama has had rumors for years,and of course most consider him a puppet of China,CIA ,or both! We do know something connected him with NXIVM. That is why this may come out.I do think the reason this is taking so long is so many people you don't want to see caught up in this will be.

He's been dogged for decades by rumors that he's gay. So when I start to see this kind of shit out of nowhere that is also part of a larger national problem and that is directly related to the bullshit of Alex Jones and QAnon, hell yes I'm suspicious and skeptical.
I said a few months ago, in one of the comment threads following one of these blinds, that Enty is going to have to answer for what he posts. I think he doesn't want to think that's true. I'm sure he's ignoring these criticisms. I think he probably thinks that, as they're blind items, he isn't responsible for anyone he doesn't himself name.
Well, I call bullshit on that, Enty. You do have to own that your site is propping up conspiracies at this point. What you choose to do about it is up to you, although vetting some of these blinds would be a hell of a good start. Not if you realize they were in caves with dripping water (bacteria) where bats also lived (with mammal diseases) and that the boys didn't enjoy the sterilizing force of the sun for many weeks...the boys were kept in quarantine for their own protection as well as everyone else.

ReplyDeleteThe gerbil story is a fabrication. One of the Pet Shop Boys actually explained that he was subjected to the same story, because of the name of the duet, until the rumor switched to Richard Gere, who was more famous.

I agree completely about the downgrade of CDAN recently compared to the site we have all come to know for YEARS and I am only hanging in because I am very curious as to where this is all heading. Having said that, if I read one blind that hints that "blah blah blah A- actor was seen shape shifting and revealing his reptilian self at an awards after party" then I am out!!

@Angela,that is wrong. The Gere story was out before anyone heard of the Pet Shop Boys, and I remember people joking ,asking if that is what the name meant.

ReplyDeleteThe Richard Gere gerbil rumor was definitely out early in his career. I remember hearing about it right after American Gigolo from someone in the late 70's, early 80's and he definitely wasn't the biggest movie star. The rumor was indeed well traveled by the time An Officer and a Gentleman and Pretty Woman were made so I'm not sure if the timing seems to match.

This is accepted as gospel in NYC. The rumor came out of a hospital. At that time St Vincent's, on the edge of Greenwich Village, was the place many gay men and women went to have their medical needs attended to. He may blame Stallone for helping spread the rumor but it's always been said to be someone on hospital staff.
Meh. People like Gelfire or whatever and Barstool are probably just sitting there laughing while they type this stuff up. They might not even really have the opinions they are expressing for all we know. They might not even care. They just find it funny. I wouldn't take them seriously. Don't get riled up over them. ReplyDeleteI remember the gerbil rumor was also spread about Philadelphia entertainment news show host Jerry Penacoli. He had a show called Evening Magazine. He also worked in Florida and is now on Extra. For a long time I didn't know about the Richard Gere version. I just got around that it was Jerry Penacoli and kids thought it was gross and hilarious at the same time.
Oh look here, it's a suspicious amount of people who show up for the first time all at once to discredit any notion of (((Hollywood peadophiles))), one makes a statement to discredit, another then agrees with it, and on and on the circlejerk goes.
